Completing quests in World of Warcraft allow the player not only to learn more information about Azeroth and other adjacent lands, but also get a good reward and experience. The tasks differ greatly from each other - some are easier, some are more difficult; some do not require ingenuity or any special skills from the player (they usually involve collecting all sorts of junk), but other missions are not so easy to complete, and here you will need your special abilities.

Thanks to this quest system in WoW, there will always be something to do for both a newbie who is completing a quest for the first time in his life, and an old-timer who has completed more than five hundred tasks in his entire time. By the way, some missions cannot be completed in a hurry - their successful completion will require days, or even weeks of playing for 2-3 hours a day. True, there is an opportunity to speed up the process of completing the quest: ask for help from other WoW players.

Completing quests

For any completion of quests, a certain reward is given, which depends on the complexity of these missions. It is usually issued only after you report the successful completion of the task to the quest giver. The reward can be different: money, magic items, recipes, clothes, armor, weapons, etc. In most cases, the player can choose which item he will receive after completing the quest.

Many people think that completing missions is a very boring and unprofitable business, but about the second one they are completely wrong. Finding quests is easy, the main thing is to know where to look for them. To accept the task, your character needs to approach the NPC, who has a golden exclamation mark above his head, and talk to him. Quests taken by the player appear in his quest journal, where they are distributed into several groups that have different color shades. The color of the quest reflects its difficulty (the most difficult ones are red, and the easiest ones are gray). Full mission information is also contained in the log.     All tasks are tied to certain territories, and therefore missions taken in Nordskop, inhabited by zombies and other monsters, will be very different from tasks taken in regions of Azeroth, where mostly peaceful people live.

    For completing most quests, the player is given a choice of several rewards.

    Quests not only give players additional experience and useful items, but also help them explore the distant lands of Azeroth, where many amazing things and characters can be found.

    In addition to regular quests that can be completed in half an hour, WoW has quests that consist of several parts and require the efforts of not just one person, but an entire group of players. Usually, such missions lead to an epic ending. By the way, in the magazine they have no colors and are designated by the following names: Elite And Raid.

Class Quests

In World of Warcraft there are also class assignments. This type of quest can only be completed by a player who has a hero of a certain class. Completing these missions increases class skills and abilities, and therefore they are very important for any character.

Achieving “3000 quests”

There are many achievements associated with quests, including one of the most difficult “achievements” in the game – “ 3000 tasks" To open it, the player must complete 3000 tasks (!), for this he will receive not only the respect of the majority of the inhabitants of Azeroth, but also the award title “ Seeker”.

Often, the process of leveling up a character in MMOs is associated with the same type of genocide of crowds of mobs. Today I want to talk about what makes World of Warcraft different.

At the time of the release and formation of the World of Military Craft, the most difficult and generally the pinnacle of success in MMORPG was considered to be reaching the maximum level for a character. Brotherhood of Justice


It should be noted that this is one of the first quest chains added to the game, as the starting quest has an ID of only 65. It tells the story of Edwin van Cleef.

Arriving at Sentinel Hill, the hero learns that a gang of scoundrels is operating in the Western Land, calling itself the Brotherhood of Justice, which is causing horror and panic among the local residents, forcing honest people to leave the Western Land. The leader of the People's Militia, Grian Stonemane, wants to find out who the leader of the gang is and where they are hiding. To do this, he invites us to penetrate this gang of bandits. In the Village in Priozerie there lives a certain Willie Cherny, who owes something to Grian. The hero goes to Priozerye to find out from Willie what information he can get.

Even though it may cost Willie his life, he admits that he owes Stonemane and agrees to tell us something. The Defias bandits are planning something big. The last thing Willie heard was that they were working together with all sorts of gnolls, kobolds and even goblins. Willy passes a hastily scribbled note to Grian, in which he lays out everything he knows on this topic.

It says that it was considerable impudence on Stonemane’s part to send a stranger to discuss the affairs of the Defias Brotherhood, and, although Stonemane had once saved Willie’s life, he now put it in serious danger. The Defias Brotherhood is stronger than we think. Every mine from Westfall to Elwynn Forest is under their control. Kobolds and gnolls do all the dirty work for them. They also have goblin-made metal monsters that stalk the fields of Westfall and strike terror into the locals.


They operate a vast underground system, much larger than Stonemane realizes - from Booty Bay to Stormwind Keep. Stonemane is a brave paladin, but a fool if he thinks he can defeat them. They are developing weapons of mass destruction. “In general, if Masons know anything, it’s how to build large-scale structures. I hope you didn't think I was talking about pumpkin farms and vineyards? I repaid the favor. Now leave me!"

Upon reading the note, Stonemane became angry, saying that he would have been better off leaving the bastard to rot when he had the chance. However, this information is critical. I wonder what Willie meant when he mentioned the Masons. Did you misspoke or let it slip? Could the Defias outlaws be related to the Masons? Only one person needs to know for sure: Mathias Shaw, head of SIU. The hero is invited to show him this note and see if he can shed light on this mystery.

After reading the note, Mathias Shaw says that this issue may be more complex than Stonemane believes. Matthias tells us that the Masons' Guild was led by a man named Edwin van Cleef. It was he who was involved in the restoration of Stormwind after its devastation by the orcs during the First War. Perhaps Van Cleef and his men were dissatisfied with the way they were treated by the king once the restoration of the city was completed. This might explain a couple of things.


Mathias Shaw


Matthias sends a document to the Western Land, which describes everything in more detail. From the documents we learn that the brotherhood of Masons, led by Edwin van Cleef, consisted of the best builders among people. Masons helped rebuild Stormwind, which had been razed to the ground by orcs during the First War. Van Cleef and his comrades were unsurpassed architects. Their taste and flair were reflected in the grandeur of the Cathedral of Light and the fortress of Stormwind. However, the noble men of Stormwind incurred enormous debts while expanding the kingdom's military presence in Elwynn Forest and Stranglethorn.

Huge debts devastated the treasury, and Van Cleef and his comrades did not receive the promised money. Having spent several years building the great city, the Masons were left with nothing, forgotten by the corrupt officials of the capital. Having known Edwin van Cleef all his life, Shaw is uncomfortable seeing him as his enemy. Edwin was his childhood friend and Matthias personally taught him shadowcraft, hoping that one day he would work alongside him. “If Van Cleef is at the head of the Brotherhood of Defias, then may the Light have mercy on our souls!”

Grian Stonemane turns out to be very familiar with the name Edwin van Cleef. The thought that such a hardworking and talented person could turn into such a scoundrel upsets him. Grian needs more proof before he believes it.

We need to find out the location of the Defias Brotherhood's Vault. Scout Grian reports that a Defias postman was seen on the road between Lunorechye, the Gold Coast Mine and the Yango Mine. Stonemane wants the hero to catch him, or, in case of resistance, to kill him and bring back what he finds. Of course, the postman resists, and on his corpse we find an encrypted letter from Van Cleef:

Blackclaw--
The sea is waiting for us. We need resources from the north. Carry everything: rails, buckets. We need metal. The cargo is expected to arrive from PB, but the delivery is delayed. Work hard, Blackclaw! This time send the supplies directly to the "barn". Time is running out.

This letter becomes direct evidence that Van Cleef is guilty. Now it remains to find out where the gang is hiding. In our absence, the People's Militia caught a thief who was trying to steal the Saldens' cart. He promised to lead us to their hideout in exchange for his life. The hero is required to protect a traitor on the way to refuge.

Surprised that such a weakling as our hero can protect him, the thief goes to show the entrance to the Dead Mines. Bandits from the Brotherhood are now hunting for his head, and, seeing the thief together with the hero, they try to kill them both. Having fulfilled his part of the deal, the traitor runs off into the undergrowth, and we return to Stonemane.

The last step remains - the murder of Edwin van Cleef. Although Stonemane is saddened by the fact that a man has been sentenced to death, it will be much better for all the people of the Western Land if Van Cleef rests forever. After long battles in the Dead Mines, the hero made his way to Van Cleef’s ship and defeated him.

Upon returning with the trophy to Stonemane, he praises our outstanding courage. The People's Militia thanks the hero for his service to the people of the Western Region. Van Cleef's death marks the beginning of the end of the Defias Brotherhood. Grian Stonemane hopes that peace will return to these lands in the near future.

Redemption


This questline tells the story of Tirion and Taelan Fordring.

After the hero exterminates the corpse-eating larvae, plague dogs and bats on Tyrion's instructions, Tyrion offers to listen to the story. To begin with, he apologizes for not being completely honest with us regarding his person. He needed to make sure that we could be trusted, since not many would disinterestedly help the old hermit. Tyrion's son Taelan was just a child when Tyrion was convicted of treason and exiled from the Alliance.

Tyrion decided to settle on a small farm near the Thondroril River in order to watch his son and somehow guarantee that Taelan would grow up to be an honest man. As Tyrion had hoped, Taelan took his place as ruler of the Mardenhold fortress in Hearthglen, but, in a cruel twist of fate, joined the ranks of the Scarlet Crusade. He is now their High Lord. Tyrion makes us believe that Taelan is a good person, he just needs guidance, he needs to remember what it is to be noble and honest. Tyrion believes that Taelan knows deep down that what he is doing is wrong and asks for help.

To help Telan get back on track, we must find something that will remind him of the past. One of these items is a toy that Tyrion gave him for his seventh birthday. Taelan treasured this small warhammer, a smaller version of Tyrion's weapon. When Tyrion was exiled for treason, Telan's mother told her son that he was dead. Thelan was taken to Tyrion's empty tomb in the Krypt, and there he buried his hammer along with all the memories of his father. When we bring the hammer to Tyrion, he can barely hold back his tears.


Tirion Fordring


Tyrion goes on to say that when Uther died, the Order of the Silver Hand lost its fighting spirit. Telan held out to the last, but, retreating to the devastated village of Northern Dale, he made his final decision. Did anyone from the order survive, he thought, and who cares? With this thought, Taelan abandoned the banner of the Silver Hand and renounced everything that had previously been dear to him. His honor remained on the blood-stained soil of the Northern Vale. Tyrion asks to find this symbol of lost honor.

After this, Tyrion remembers how they often went to Caer Darrow when Taelan was small. For the last time, an artist named Renfri depicted their entire family on the shore. This is Tyrion's best memory of Telan and Carandra. It was then, standing next to his wife and holding his son in his arms, that he felt a deep connection with his own family, which he was never given the opportunity to feel again.

Having gone in search of a painting in Caer Darrow, the hero meets the ghost of the artist Renfri there. She reveals that many spirits are cursed to relive their last happy memory on this island before they met their tragic end. Renfri is also cursed, but not like everyone else - she is one of the few who remembers everything. Perhaps this painting we ask her is the reason why she lives in these ruins. Perhaps what she tells us will free her spirit. For many years the painting hung on the wall of her studio, in the barracks of the order. After Tyrion's trial, Renfri knew he couldn't keep her in sight.

She hid it so that no one would find it: in Stratholme, in a place that is now called the Bastion of the Scarlet Crusade, there is a painting with two moons. If you remove the top layer of paint, you can see the “Symbol of Family Love.” At the sight of the picture, Tyrion almost falls and begins to sob furiously.

The last step left on the path to redemption is to take everything collected to Telan. Unfortunately, Thelan and his Scarlet Crusaders will attack the hero on sight. There is only one way to deliver a message - to take the form of an enemy. To the south of here, near Uther's tomb, Tyrion's good old friend Miranda is alive, who should help us with this. She was Tyrion's most trusted advisor during his tenure as Lord of Mardenholde.

She openly disagreed with the Silver Hand's verdict and was exiled for her insolence. Miranda says that she is an illusionist and can create an illusion for a limited time, thanks to which the hero can get into Hearthglen.


Introducing himself as reinforcements from the Hand of Tyr, the hero gives Tyrion's gift to Taelan. Telan can't believe it, falls to one knee and begins to breathe heavily. Fury that has been building up for years is about to be unleashed on this city. How long has he been the puppet of the Supreme Knight. And what was the use of fighting the Scarlet Crusade? Decades had passed since his father's supposed death, but he lived only in memories of him.

Telan dreamed that he and his father were together again. Tyrion stands nearby, watching with pride as Thelan is accepted into the order. They fight shoulder to shoulder with the Scourge, bringing glory to the Alliance and Lordaeron. Telan no longer wants to live in a dream and asks to be taken to his father. Taelan will lead us through Hearthglen to the edge of the forest, from where we will lead him to Tyrion. He begins to kill every Scarlet Crusade soldier he meets on his way out of the city and asks us to take off our disguises so as not to get under the sword when his rage takes over.


Telan Fordring


When Telan and the hero reached the Scarlet Crusade watchtower on the road to Hearthglen, High Inquisitor Isillien emerged from it. He said that Thelan would not reach the edge of the forest. Telan disappointed him; Isillien had grandiose plans for him. But alas, it was only a matter of time before the dirty bloodline showed itself. An apple from an apple tree. Telan is as weak-willed as Tyrion, if not more so. Isillien hopes that his killers have finally managed to end his miserable life.

Isillien is tasked by the Supreme Knight to kill Thelan and his newfound friends, but he does so out of pleasure rather than duty or duty. Isillien calls upon his guards, saying "The end is now, Fordring.", and the battle begins. At one point the High Inquisitor shouts "Enough!" and kills Telan with a strong spell, after which he laughs. “Did you really believe that you could defeat me? Your friends will join you soon, Telan.". At this moment Tirion Fordring appears.

Tyrion: “What have you done, Isillien? Once you fought with honor for the good of our people... and now... you killed my boy...”
Isillien: “Sad. The elder Fordring is still alive. You're late, old man. Return to your cave, hermit, unless you wish to join your son in the Twisting Nether."
Tyrion: “May your soul burn in agony, Isillien! Light, give me strength to fight this demon!”
Tyrion: Look at my face, you coward. Look into the face of the faith and strength that you once embodied."
Isillien: “Attack, hermit!”


Tyrion easily defeats the High Inquisitor, while the player deals with the remnants of the Scarlet Crusade's elite guards. After which Tyrion goes to his son and falls to one knee. "Look what they did to my boy." Tyrion holds Taelan's limp body and sobs quietly.

“For too long I have sat idly by, caught in this fog, lamenting what could have been... what should have been. Your death will not be in vain, Thelan. A new Order was born today. An order that will devote itself to the fight against the evil that poisons this world. With evil that cannot hide behind politics and niceties. I promise that. »

After which Tyrion tells the hero that the death of his son at the hands of these monsters will not pass without a trace. The Order is being reborn. Now Tyrion will take the place of High Lord of the new Order of the Silver Hand. Maybe in better times we will meet again and remember the days long gone, the battles we fought together, the dreams that were redeemed.

Dragon Flame Amulet


This quest chain opened the Lair of Onyxia raid.

It all starts with the hero arriving at Morgana's Watch in the Burning Steppes. Helendis River Cape talks about the turbulent life in this place. Before the Big Bang, this was all part of the Red Mountains. Morgana's Watch is struggling to survive under pressure from the Black Flight, and Helendis asks us to help push back the black dragons by killing as many of them as possible.

Helendis goes on to say that at first they thought that the Blackrock Orcs were so cruel by nature. It turns out that this is not the case. Yes, they are indeed driven into battle by bloodlust and a love of battle, but they are led by black dragons. River Cape asks you to take this message to Magistrate Solomon.

After reading the message, Solomon says that it is not difficult to despair when you learn that your mortal enemies are just pawns of a much more terrible enemy. Lakeside cannot survive the onslaught of Black Mountain orcs and black dragons. If Priozerye falls, Mirkwood will be next, and then what? Goldshire? Stormwind itself? This message must be taken to Stormwind immediately. If they don’t get help from the capital with this, then they won’t get it with any force, and everything is lost.

When the hero conveyed the message to High Lord Bolvar Fordragan, he was quite surprised at the threat of dragons. However, they cannot afford to send their already meager troops to help Priozerye based only on guesswork. Bolvar will need proof of Solomon's claims before he can take action. Bolvar suggests talking to Lady Prestor. She is a learned woman and knows a lot about dragons and draconians. Perhaps she can shed some light on this situation.


Helendis River Cape


At the first meeting, Katrina Prestor glares at the hero. She believes that we are seeking to lower Stormwind's global defenses by pandering to a paranoid Magistrate and a camp of scum who are probably suffering from heatstroke.

To objections, Lady Prestor agrees that this is not our end in itself, the character is simply a typical “adventurer” who often becomes victims of circumstances; the subject of the political drama that tends to unfold between the civilian population and the royal power. Lady Prestor advises us to strive for something else, for example, a new career. This world has enough heroes.

Bolvar remains thoughtful for some time. He respects Lady Prestor's position, but decides to find a political way out of the dilemma that will calm all our fears. He intends to give us the powers of a representative acting on behalf of Stormwind and gives Solomon a decree with the seal of King Wrynn. The decree states that the bearer of this document has been granted official status as an acting representative of Stormwind.


Bolvar Fordragon


Solomon can use us to find evidence of the Blackrock Orcs' involvement with the Black Flight. If such evidence is found, this representative will deliver it to Stormwind, and Bolvar will prepare a decree to provide Lakeside with sufficient military assistance.

Solomon, of course, is not delighted that instead of an army they sent him just us. However, it could have been worse. It seems that the fate of Priozerye lies entirely on our shoulders. And Solomon blinks quickly to hide the tears that are coming. Sighing, Solomon instructs the hero to return to the Burning Steppes. As a representative of Stormwind, the hero is obliged to report to Marshal Maxwell.

After receiving the news, Maxwell simply laughed. It seems this is not the first such “representative”. How many more soldiers does Morgana's Watch have to lose before Stormwind begins to move? They had already collected a mountain of intelligence regarding the threat from the Black Mountain before they lost their commander, Marshal Reginald Windsor. All priceless information disappeared with him. A dwarf named Ragged John was at Windsor when they were attacked by the Blackrock Mountain raid. He was last seen in the caves in the northern Burning Steppes.


Lady Katrina Prestor


John was found drunk. He says that Windsor was in a particularly bad mood that day, which is rare for him. Windsor kept saying that he “felt something.” And he wasn't joking! They were in the heart of the Black Mountain when the foul animals attacked them. By "foul beasts" John, of course, means orcs. All they could hear was the groaning and clashing of steel as the orcs attacked Windsor's force.

John against fifty orcs? He's not a fool. Daddy always told him, “Discredit is the best trait of a burglar,” or something like that, and John knew what that meant. Anyway, he somehow slipped into the shadows. It wasn't very good, sitting next to Windsor, watching him almost go crazy. Well, he started spinning the old Ironbreaker around and screaming like crazy at the orcs. We've never heard of the Ironbreaker? The legendary orc-killer hammer? Yes, it was the hammer of old Windsor.

He told John that Franklorn the Artificer himself made this hammer for Windsor's great-great-great-grandfather. The Iron Bane was made from a single piece of Dark Iron. Windsor also said that the hammer had a twin, which Franklorn kept in his possession. He called him Iron Friend or something... So, what was John talking about? Oh yes, the orcs rushed towards Windsor and Windsor...? Well, he didn't move an inch. He stood proudly as the orcs rushed at him, ten at once. All John could see was the glow from the Ironbreaker and a lot of blood. This went on for several hours, maybe days... John doesn't remember. Either way, it eventually ended. Do we think Windsor is dead? We're crazy!


Windsor


Sorry, but Windsor wouldn't die from fifty orcs. As sure as the Telsamar blood sausage was the most delicious food this world had ever known, so stood Windsor: he was covered from head to toe in the body parts of orcs, drenched in about eighteen layers of their blood, but he was definitely alive... and very, very angry. Why do we keep asking how he died? Who said he died? John didn't say that. He's missing, that's all. Apparently, Windsor's squad was caught in the middle of some big battle between the orcs and the Dark Iron dwarves. The Orcs, being the dirty little dogs that they are, had previously hidden all sorts of traps and other devilish things that we probably wouldn't understand.

And dwarves are never drunk! John is just a little sloppy. In general, John believes that Windsor is somewhere in the Blackrock Depths. This is the City of Black Iron, for uneducated people like us. Why did John decide that Windsor is in the depths of the Black Mountain?! Slow down, John's just getting to this point. So, Windsor stands so proud and tall in all this blood and hanging guts, when did anyone appear? Dark Iron Dwarves! Yes, the Black Iron are a little more cunning than the Blackrock Orcs. They came prepared. By "prepared" John means that there were about three hundred of them. Did the Black Iron kill Windsor and drag him to Blackrock Depths? Yeah, if John didn’t know better, he’d think we were one of those “educated” people.

They call them troggs. Windsor has no differences with the Dark Irons; after all, his great-great-great-grandfather's best friend was a Dark Iron. This was probably the reason why this Dark Iron army did not kill Windsor on the spot. We've finally come up with the Iron Destroyer! Placing a few fingers in our ears seems to have made our brains five sizes larger, and John is afraid it might leak. And so, Black Iron saved Windsor’s life and captured him. Their leader, with high self-esteem, took the Ironbreaker for himself. This is the last that John saw of Windsor.


General Marcus Jonathan


Upon the hero’s arrival at Morgana’s Watch, Maxwell asks what made us so amused. So this pathetic coward, John, says that Windsor is alive? It is necessary to go in search of him and save him if he is alive, or bring proof of death otherwise. Maxwell laughs, saying that the hero is probably tired of hearing that.

We find Windsor in prison, very angry with Bolvar. Bolvar is a pathetic fool. Windsor collected all his precious "evidence" only to shove it down his own throat. You idiot! Blind idiot! The proof stands two steps away from him, and he flaps his ears. As for the information collected by Windsor, all information is lost, and irretrievably.

If Windsor does find the Ironbane and gets out of this labyrinth, the first thing he will do is go to Stormwind and smash Bolvar, that vile snake, between the eyes with a hammer. Windsor asks to leave him.

Returning to Maxwell with the bad news, he hangs his head in mourning and says that Windsor must have gone mad. Unfortunately, the once proud and noble warrior has turned into a pathetic madman. Maxwell believes that there are no more ways and this is the end.

However, while wandering around Black Mountain, the hero stumbles upon a crumpled note. It is possible that this find will be of interest to Marshal Windsor. Maybe things aren't so bad and hope is still alive. The sheet is wrinkled and stained, and the text is almost unreadable, but we still managed to make out a few phrases:

This becomes a glimmer of hope. Seeing the hero’s note in his hands, Windsor became interested in it and began to read. After some time, Windsor begins shaking the note excitedly. Do we understand what this means? Maybe all is not lost yet! As far as Windsor understood, his information was obtained by two Dark Iron dwarves - General Forge of Wrath and the golem lord Argelmach. However, Windsor has a suspicion that they will not give it up, even if we very politely ask them. Windsor hopes the hero is ready to fight.

Marshall Windsor seems very excited about the return of the documents. He snatches them from the hero's hands and insists on leaving the dungeon immediately and asks for help in escaping. It is necessary to take Marshall's things from the warehouse and also free his friends. After the successful completion of the operation, we agree with Windsor to meet at Maxwell’s camp and consider the next stages of the plan there.

As has already been established for certain, Lady Prestor is Onyxia, the offspring of Deathwing, the twin sister of the ruler of the Black Mountain, Nefarian. She has kept our kingdom under control for too long. Even the High Lord himself is a puppet in her hands... This witchcraft will be destroyed. But don't be afraid, together we will win!

As Windsor steps onto the Avenue of Heroes, Lady Prestor screams “Grab him! Capture this worthless criminal and his allies!”

Windsor's path is blocked by the city guard and General Marcus Jonathan, the commander-in-chief of the Stormwind garrison.

Marcus Jonathan: "Reginald, you know I can't let you pass."

Next we move to the entrance to the Stormwind fortress. Along the way, all the guards salute Windsor. Before entering the fortress, Windsor stops and warns that the reptile will fight furiously. Onyxia: “Curious... Windsor, in this vision of yours, did you survive? I only ask because the only thing I can guarantee is your death. Here and now."
Bolvar Fordragon: "Dragon abomination! Guards! Guards! Seize this monster!
Reginald Windsor: "DON'T LET HER ESCAPE!"

Onyxia summons many draconians from the Black Flight and the battle begins. The amulet with which Onyxia controlled Bolvar shatters during the fight. Onyxia mortally wounds Windsor and teleports away.

Bolvar Fordragon: "Reginald... I... I'm sorry."

With the help of the amulet, we might be able to bypass the defenses of Onyxia's lair in the Dustwallow Marsh and put an end to it. But a fragment of a shattered amulet is all Bolvar has to offer. We will have to find another dragon who will agree to help you make a new key. Where can I find other dragons willing to help? Unfortunately, Bolvar does not know... They say that such people exist. Some of them may even live among us in the guise of people, gnomes or elves, for example. Bolvar wishes us luck in our search.

After long wanderings around the world, the hero finds a blue dragon named Hale in Winter Springs. She immediately sensed the aura of evil surrounding the hero and wondered what the hero was wearing that could emit such an aura. Well, yes, she should have guessed - part of the foremother of black dragons, Onyxia. How disgusting. Hale says that these are enchanted dragon scales.
