Dock.
After leaving the water, contact the command via radio (called by the select button). Your first task is to get to the elevator. Go down the stairs and take the ration. Run up past the two guards, be careful not to step in the puddles - this may attract the attention of the guards. Having reached the mine, hide behind the loader (on the right) until the elevator arrives. When the elevator arrives, wait for the guard to get out. Get into the elevator.
Heliport.
The first step is to arm yourself. Go right from the elevator, to the mountains. Crawl up along them so as not to leave traces. Crawl to the stairs, Snake will notice a security camera (you cannot get within its visibility radius, the alarm will be raised). To the left of the stairs there is an all-terrain vehicle, there is a socom gun in it, take it (until you find the muffler, it is better not to use the socom gun). If you wish, you can take chaff grenade on the helipad, which is illuminated by two spotlights... Climb the stairs to the second floor. Hide behind the column (on the right), when the guard turns his back to you, disable him using the “square” button. There is a ventilation hole in the wall (on the left), climb into it.
Tank Hangar.
Sneak past the camera (on the right) and go into room #1. Take a thermal goggle. Go down the stairs. Be careful, there are two guards below. Your goal is to get to the elevator. When you approach the elevator, call it (to avoid waiting a long time for the elevator to arrive, press the call button again). Enter the elevator and go to floor 81.
In 1 Tank hangar.
Run down to the stairs and climb up them into the ventilation. Crawl through the ventilation into cell No. 2, in fact, look into cell No. 3, Meryl is sitting there. After receiving the Lv1 card from Dagr, wait until Meryl opens the cell door. Once in the corridor with Meryl, start shooting back at the guards. It is better to do this in the corners next to the door (in the sense of shooting back). When the guards start running through the door, open fire; Having killed one group of guards, collect the socom cartridges and rations that were left from them, and again stand with the guards without losses. After the fight, take the ammo in rooms No. 4 and No. 5. Get into the elevator and go to floor B2.
B2 Tank Hangar.
In room #6, take the C4 explosive. Be careful, there are pits and traps all over the floor. Place explosives in the top left, top right, bottom left corners. The places where explosives should be placed are highlighted by color, and if you knock on them, you will hear an empty sound. Collect weapons in rooms #8 and #9. Run into the lower left gap. Two more walls will stand in your way, blow them up.
No. 1. Boss of Revolver Ocelot.
Ozeroth, as befits the first boss, is a very weak enemy, but quite playful. He moves around the room much faster than you, so running after him is pointless. We must wait until he stops and starts shooting. At this moment you should shoot at Ozeroth. When you fight Ozeroth, do not approach the AT President under any circumstances, otherwise the explosives he is tied with will detonate.
B2 Tank Hanger.
After receiving the Lv2 card from the president, go out through the gap in the wall. Blow up the wall on the right, but do not go into the resulting gap. Run back to the elevator, be careful, there are now two soldiers walking around there. Go to rooms No. 10 and No. 11 (Fa-MAS automatic rifle). In room No. 11 there are infrared rays, crawl under them. Get into the elevator and go to the first floor. When you arrive on the first floor, do not exit the elevator. Contact Meryl (frequency 140.15). Take B1 and immediately return to the first floor. A passage has opened to the right of the elevator, but before you go there, look into room No. 12. (get the socom suppressor there). No. 13 (card box), No. 14 (mine detector). Then carefully enter the passage. You should carefully walk through the five infrared rays. Use thermal g. After passing one beam, stop and wait for the next one to rise.
Using thermal g. collect claymore mines. Run up.
Boss #2. Gunner.
As you probably guessed, this is a tank that used to be on the first floor. As soon as you get within his line of sight, he will start shooting at you with his very large cannon. To get closer to him, it is best to crawl towards him while under the cover of the hill on the left. As soon as you get close to
tank, a soldier will get out of it and start shooting at you with a machine gun. Throw two grenades into the hatch, after which the lifeless warrior will fly out of the tank, and Snake will take the Lv3 card from him.
Nuke Dldg 1.
Weapons may not be used in this room under any circumstances. Also, if you are discovered, poisonous gas will be released, which means death. As soon as you get to nuke bldg, the command will tell you the coordinates of Natasha Romanenko (141.52). Wait for the guard to pass by you, then run left to the stairs. Go up to the second floor and quickly run to the elevator before the guard on the right notices you. Take B1.
B1 Nuke BLDG.
Go to room No. 15. It is better to shoot the guard in it. Take the nikita launcher and rockets for it in room No. 16. Go up to B2.
B2 NUKE BLDG.
In corridor No. 17, the floor is energized, so it is impossible to walk on it. To de-energize it, you need to blow up the transformer in room No. 18. To do this, use nikita launcher. There are cameras installed along the way to the transformer; it is better to destroy them first, and then the transformer. Don't forget to replenish your air supply, as you are in a chamber filled with gas. When the floor is de-energized, take the gas mask in room No. 19. Head to the Otacona laboratory.
Boss #3. Ninja.
At first glance, the Ninja may seem like a very strong opponent, since he is capable of repelling almost all of your weapon attacks with his super sword. In addition, it can cause significant damage to your health. In order to kill him with minimal losses, you should challenge him to a “fair fight”, to do this, hit him in the face. After which the touched Ninja will hide his “kladinets”. Now it won't be difficult to kill him.
AT 2.
After defeating the Ninja, Otacon, who has peed himself, will give you the LV4 card. Visit rooms No. 21 and No. 22 (night vision gjggles). Take B1. Go to room No. 15. The guard on the left wall is Meryl in disguise. When she sees you, she will run to the women's restroom (poor thing). Run after her. After a long conversation, you will receive a Lv5 card from Meryl. Go with Meryl to passage number 23.
Boss #4. Psycho Mantis.
Mantis can compete with the last boss in complexity; you will have to tinker a lot with this Reptile. First of all, Mantis, using his ability to penetrate people's brains, will force: Meryl to shoot you. Therefore, Meryl should be carefully “turned off”; it is best to use a choke hold. When Meryl “comes out of the game”, we should deal with our telepath. It is better to fight Mantis when you are wearing Thermal goggles, then he will not be able to use stealth camouflage. Mantic's attacks repeat in a cyclical manner. First, he will throw clots of energy: to dodge them, you should continuously run around the room. Other attacks can be avoided by lying on the floor. Number two for Mantis are chairs, which he spins around himself, using them as a shield. After manipulating the chairs, Mantis will launch busts at you. The viper uses vases as homing missiles. When the vases fly into place, boomerang-like deer antlers will launch (!!!). The final attack of the cycle will be the graceful flight of paintings. And all this will begin to repeat itself again and again... It is very difficult to advise at what moment to attack Mantis the psychopath, everyone must choose their own individual tactics. After some time, Mantis will again force Meryl to attack you. Use the same technique to “turn off” it. But Mantis will not stop there, he will force Meryl to shoot herself. We'll have to "knock out" the poor thing again. When your friend calms down, poor Mantis's party will begin. He will fly randomly around the room and shoot bolts of energy at you. When only Mantis has just a little bit of energy left, he will completely go crazy and start launching all the objects at you at the same time. Whether you kill him or not depends only on your luck...
Comfnder Room.
Before you die, Mantis will open a secret passage for you, go there.
Save.
In the cave, use a night vision device. Follow Meryl, shooting tops along the way. If you want to laugh, then when the puppy approaches Meryl, hit him, then they will explain to you that it is not good to offend animals.
U.Grnd Pssge
Clear the mines on the ground and approach Meryl. Meryl will come under fire from a sniper and be seriously injured. You won't be able to get close to her because of the sniper. To get rid of him, you need a sniper rifle (they knock out a wedge with a wedge), which is located in room No. 24.
Armory.
There are infrared beams in the room with the sniper rifle, so be careful. Taking the rifle, run back to u.grand pssge.
U. Grnd Pssge.
Shoot a sniper with a sniper rifle. Run up to the door, where you will be captured.
In captivity, Ozeroth will torture you. Whether you surrender or not will determine whether Meryl or Otacon survive. After inhuman torture you will be sent to a cell. When the guard runs to the toilet (poor guy), Otacon or Ninja will come to you. If Otacon comes, he will give you ketchup, a sniper scarf and a Lv6 card. The ninja will simply break down the door. While the guard is in the toilet, lie down on the floor and crush the ketchup. The guard who comes running will mistake the ketchup for blood and cover the cell; at this moment he should be suffocated. Behind the thing you were tortured with, in the box is your inventory. Now that you have the Lv6 card, you can grab the camera from the passage you previously blew up. Go back to the door where you were grabbed, be sure to collect ammo for famas along the way. Once you enter the tower, run along the corridor. The camera will notice you and the alarm will be raised. Take the rope and stinger. Quickly go up the stairs. About fifty guards will rush after you, who will follow you all the way to the roof.
Roof/Comm. TWR.
There is a satellite dish on the roof; as soon as you get close, a hail of missiles will fall on it. And Liguid will appear in a helicopter. While you are still alive, tie the rope to the edge and jump down. When you climb down, the annoying Liquid will shoot at you with a machine gun.
Walkway.
Having landed safely, look around. There are three machine gunners at the top. If you try to approach them, they will open fire. To kill them, use a sniper rifle. Liquid will appear again, quickly run to comm Twr b.
Comm. Twr b.
Go down the stairs. When you reach the gap, run back. Otacon will appear near the elevator, which will open the passage to the top. Go up the stairs, there are cameras on many floors. At the top, collect ammo for the stinger and get ready for battle. Go out onto the roof.
Boss #5. Hind.
The doe piloted by Liquid should be brought down to earth. For this you will need a stinger. The tactics for passing the boss are very simple. Shoot the stinger at . Then hide behind two cylinders from his machine-gun fire. Repeat this move several times and Liquid will slam down with his gazelle.
Comm. Twr b.
After winning, go down to the elevator. Call him and go to the first floor. Otacon will get in touch and inform you that four of Liquida’s henchmen in stealth camouflage are riding with you in the elevator. Figure out what needs to be done with them. Get out into the fresh air. On the street you will immediately fall under the Sniper Wolf's crosshairs.
Boss #6. Sniper Wolf.
There are two ways to deal with Otacon's beloved. The first is to compete with her in the ability to shoot with a sniper rifle. The second one is easier and safer. Hide behind the rock on the right and shoot with the nikita launcher. Aim the rocket right at the legs of the charming sniper. The rocket is best piloted by switching to first-person view. When you control a rocket, it is worth considering that it cannot overcome very steep mountains.
Snow Field.
After the heartbreaking scene of the death of Sniper Wolf, when you come to your senses. Collect ammo around the area. Go through the first upper door. Go down to the basement. Insert Disc.
Blast Furnace.
Get rid of the guard snooping around here and there. After that, use the nikita launcher to blow up the cargo from the crane. Walk along the ledge to the other side. Go down the stairs and go through the large door. Go to the elevator control panel and start it. As soon as the lift starts moving, two guards will jump from above. Deal with them. Get on the next lift and go down. Go up to the warehouse.
Boss #7. Raven.
This is the scumbag you didn't finish off when you fought the tank. Ravena can be killed with several types of weapons, but the best choice is the Stinger. When you take away more than half of Ravena's energy, he will start running after you at double speed. So be careful.
Warehouse.
Open the door with the Lv7 card that Raven gave you before he died. Run up, be careful, there are pits on the floor - traps. There are cameras around the stairs; use chaff grenade to paralyze them. Go up the stairs.
U.Grnd. Base.
Here it is, the great and terrible Metal Gear Rex.
You should climb on this thing. To do this, use the ladders attached to it. After climbing to the top of the giant, look through binoculars at the room opposite. Do you recognize the sweet couple in it? These are two friends Liquid and Ocelot who are racking their brains on how to launch Metal Gear. Run to them. After Ocelot shoots Snake, he injures his PAL key. So, Ocelot and Liquid are barricaded in their booth, the alarm is raised, and the PAL key is somewhere below. First of all, you should find the PAL key. He may be on the ground floor in the water, to find him, just run from one end of the channel to the other. And also a mouse can drag it down below. Then you will have to run after the rodent quite a bit to get it to give you the PAL key. Once you've found the PAL key, head back to the Metal Gear control room. Insert the yellow PAL key into the yellow computer. Now you need to get two more keys, blue and red. PAL key is not a simple key, but a temperature one. In order for it to change its color, you need to place it in the appropriate conditions. For example, for it to turn blue, you need to place it in a room with a cold temperature, and for it to turn red, you need to place it in the blast furnace. First, take the PAL key to the warehouse, insert it into the blue computer. And then take it to blast furnace. When you change the color of a PAL key, be sure to select it in your inventory. As soon as you insert the last key into the computer, the doors in the room will close and the gas will be released. Put on a gas mask and contact Otacon by radio, after a while Otacon will open the door. Leaving the room, you will see Liquid scurrying, run after him.
Boss #8. Metal Gear Rex.
Liquid sits inside Metal Gear and wants to tear you into small pieces. He is armed with lasers, missiles, machine guns, in general, everything in full. Rexa should be killed in two steps. First you need to blow up the round thing on his shoulder from the stinger. To do this, detonate some chaff grenade to paralyze Metal Gear. Then shoot at him with the stinger. When you blow up the Metal Gear piece, a Ninja will appear and will soon die. To finish off Metal Gear, hide behind the barrels in the lower left corner, where he won't be able to see you, and shoot him with a stinger.
Boss #9. Liquid.
After the destruction of Metal Gear, there will be another fight with Liquidom himself. All you have to do is defeat him hand-to-hand. Which is quite easy to do, since Liquid is a rather weak opponent (after Rexa, no one is afraid of us).
After getting down from Metal Gear, run after the second hero. Having reached the jeep, wait until it is started, do not forget to shoot the guards. When you drive a jeep, you will be stopped by soldiers; you should get rid of them very quickly. After a while Liquid will catch up with you (what a tenacious bastard!). You need to destroy this toadstool once and for all. It's better to shoot at Liquid by switching to first-person view. Follow him to the end of the tunnel.

The past year has been rich in immense, huge games. We managed to live in the third “The Witcher”, now we spend sleepless nights in Fallout 4, happy owners of Wii U explore the planet Mira in Xenoblade Chronicles X, and someone still can’t tear themselves away from Snake’s adventures in Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.

Surprisingly, Hideo Kojima’s series has turned from a chamber action game about moral torment into a real open-world action movie, and below we will give advice on how to behave in “story” missions, of which there are a good fifty. Unfriendly Afghanistan or gloomy Africa - let's figure out where to go and what to do.

Prologue

To understand the plot - one of the main episodes. It is completely different from the main part of the game, either stylistically or in terms of mechanics. The action begins after numerous cutscenes, which make no sense to describe, and we don’t need spoilers.

Having gained control, crawl to Ishmael at the door - this is the comrade you need to follow. Once you find yourself in a room with screens, hide in the one that the enemy has just checked (they won’t check it again). Next, just don’t get caught by the enemies, look for the stairs and go down.

Once you have the gun, aim and shoot the fire extinguisher. The first enemies have been defeated. Kill enemies from the balcony without going down. They die from one shot to the head. The main thing is that the hero is not noticed, otherwise it will be more difficult to “fight”. After the video with the burning man, run away from him. Next is a video and a shootout on horseback.

Chapter 1. Revenge

Episode 1: Phantom Limbs

Before us is Afghanistan, and all around are Soviet soldiers (the Russian language in the game is correct and understandable; enemy negotiations are perfectly understood by ear). We enter the iDroid (analogous to a pocket PC, only from the 80s) and see the target, the village of Gwandai Khar. We listen to Ocelot and look through binoculars. We request intelligence data and receive information about the village of Vialo. That's where we need to go. You should not run on foot, take a horse. We meet the post and deal with two guards. Here's your first capture! There will be many of them in the future.

Next you need to find a good observation point (any hills will do) and examine the village with binoculars. We will find out where the enemies are (they will be marked right away), what vehicles are there, and so on.

We need to go to the building with the red flag. Inside there is information about where Kazuhiro Miller (Kaz) is hidden, who needs to be rescued. He is in the main village, in the building that is marked in yellow. There you need to go up to the second floor, take Kaz on your shoulders and run (or better yet, gallop) to the evacuation site. You will encounter a new type of enemy that resembles the living dead. They shouldn't be seen. When you find yourself in the helicopter, the mission will end.

Episode 2: Diamond Dogs

We approach Ocelot, listen, we get the Fulton system (for evacuating everything and everyone, and most importantly - soldiers for your team). Next we train in its use. We open iDroid, we understand the intricacies of managing the base and your army. We receive information about the basics of creating objects and various units. The mission as a whole is training. Listen carefully, everything is clear and simple, but there is quite a lot of data.

When you realize that you have enough practice, indicate the helicopter landing zone and sit inside. From the helicopter we select missions - initially there are three available.

Episode 3: The Hero's Journey

We select the landing zone, equipment, and mission start time. It is better to act at night - there is less chance of being detected, although visibility deteriorates for everyone. We need to get rid of the special forces commander. Having reached the desired point, explore the camp and find your target (in the red beret). Eliminate the soldiers on the towers carefully: it is not necessary to kill them, it is better to put them to sleep and send them to the team. The commander can either be killed or evacuated, the choice is yours. Get into the helicopter and fly away.

Episode 4: Information War

Once on the ground, we begin to look for communication equipment. When you locate the base, explore it with binoculars. Find three satellite dishes. They must either be destroyed or a radio transmitter must be found. He is in one of the buildings with an antenna at the top.

Episode 5: Behind the Fence

It is better to carry out the mission at night. You need to take a prisoner to your base who was planning an escape from the Vah Sindh barracks. They are well guarded. If you want to shoot, it's your right, however, you can pass unnoticed if you choose the path on the opposite side of the road with a barrier.

We take the data from the house with the guard, then we go to the barracks. Let's go up to the security station (it's better to bend down), go up the stairs and jump onto the rock. There's a prisoner sitting on the edge. We evacuate him.

Additionally: we go to the barracks again, but to a destroyed building, to the right of which there is a building. There will be an engineer down there who needs to be evacuated. We can fly away.

Episode 6: Where is the sting hiding?

We are required to seize a weapon, the “Sting” system. Here you will have to run, as the helicopter will land quite far away. We find ourselves in Fort Smasei, go to its back part, and see a cave with candles there. The tunnel leads down to a hall with water. We go through the doors on the left, and from there to the back room, where the “Sting” lies. Next we will meet with the Skulls squad. It is better to destroy them with the help of newly acquired weapons. It's worth shooting when they are close to each other. Save your ammo to get rewards for both the Stinger and its charges. However, you can run away from the “Skulls”!

There are other goals in this mission - the evacuation of the captive Hamid (if he is not intercepted before the convoy reaches the Sting, the hostage will be killed) and the destruction of the helicopter (again, with the help of the Sting).

Episode 7: Bloody Copper

The commanders must be evacuated or killed. The leaders meet in the village of Vialo. One is there immediately, the other two will arrive a little later. Decide for yourself whether to kill or take into your squad. The main thing is not to raise the alarm, because besides them there are a lot of other fighters here.

Additional goals: evacuate the soldiers and commander directly by car and wiretapping the commanders’ conversations (they talk in a tent when they get together).

Episode 8: Occupation Forces

There are two stages of the task. First you need to kill the colonel in the village of Shahra Ye, find his papers, and then destroy two tanks. Along the way, you can evacuate the hostage.

It is important to prevent tanks from approaching the fortress. The best way to use an airstrike is to call it via iDroid. We hit in advance, where the tanks will be in 10-15 seconds.

Episode 9: Help and Retreat

We improve the strength of air strikes and fly on a mission. We see enemy combat vehicles. They must be destroyed while they are within the mission area. According to the assignment, it is enough to blow up one, but to achieve an additional goal it is better to get rid of at least five.

A truck with ammunition will also appear on the map. It is advisable to capture them.

Episode 10: Angel with Broken Wings

We arrive at the ruined palace. There are several hostages here who can be rescued. One of them will say that Malak (the mission target) has been moved to another location. We go to the Yaho Obu base (at the top of the map), clear the territory and go inside the fortress. We search the rooms there. One of them with a red door is the one we need. We pull Malak out, put him in the helicopter and fly away.

Additional quest: Contact with Emmerich

To advance in the story, you will have to complete the additional mission “Contact with Emmerich.” To do this, we go to the base of Yaho Obu, from there up to the ruins of Aabe Shifap. The story episode will begin there.

Episode 11: Surrounded by Silence

One of the most interesting episodes in the game. You will have a battle with the boss, the sniper Quiet. It is worth fighting against her with a sniper rifle, tracking the location through the scope. However, you can deal with it easier - find her on the map and drop a box of ammunition on her head. You can also use a tranquilizer (easier when Quiet One jumps into the water and plays with the rainbow).

Next, Snake is faced with a choice: kill Silent (as Kaz advises) or leave him alive (Ocelot’s version). It’s better, of course, to leave it - she is a very important plot character and scenes and missions are connected with her. In addition, Quiet as a partner is superior to a dog, a horse, and even the Walking Gear robot.

Plot episode: Visit to Quiet

If Silent remains alive, this task appears at the main base. After completion, the girl can be taken with you on missions.

We continue the task “Contact with Emmerich”

We go to the Serac power station, to the very end. There are two options: kill all enemies or sneak quietly. It is important to understand that if there is an alarm, the door will not open. We get inside and watch the video.

Episode 12: Road to Hell

We go to the large gate, neutralize the soldiers on the left. We go up to the platform on the right and study the documents. Now you need to get to the central base camp in Afghanistan. A helicopter will appear here, there will be many strong enemies. We need to find Emmerich. Again, you can only get inside the hangar where he sits if the alarm is not raised or all the enemies are dead. Entrance is through one of the side doors.

We grab this unpleasant character and drag him to the evacuation point. Then we run back, hide from the giant robot, and call a helicopter to another place. We get into it and fight Sahelanthropus using the machine gun on board.

Episode 13: Impenetrable Darkness

Here we are in Central Africa. The first step is to burn down the oil field. We go to the base (it’s quite a long walk), where we need to destroy the tank and turn off the pumps. The tank can be blown up with a grenade, and the pumps can be turned off through the console panel.

Episode 14: Common Language

We head to the indicated point, find the suitcase, watch the video. The Viscount needs to be saved. We inspect the territory, find an interpreter, follow him without raising any alarm. He will provide an opportunity to reach a group of hostages with the Viscount: watch as the linguist enters the building with a soldier. The prisoners will also be brought here. You can intercept them along the way using a night vision device.

Then an interpreter should be evacuated so that you can understand what the locals are saying.

Episode 15: Ghost Traces

Let's go to the village. We destroy or capture robots. There are 4 of them in total. Two are located near the tents to the right of the buildings, two more are a little higher.

Episode 16: Caravan of Traitors

There are two options for completing the mission: either pump up the Fulton and evacuate heavy cargo, or destroy all the guards and take the truck out of enemy territory.

In any case, first we neutralize the guards at the post. Then in the tent we find information about the truck, the route is indicated there. In the middle you will find the airport. Here are our goals.

When we reach the truck, a squad of “Skulls” will appear that we need to defeat. The easiest way to do this is with a tank and an armored personnel carrier. You should shoot enemies one by one.

Episode 17: Scout Rescue

We go to the yellow dot in the forest. There is a hostage there. Along the way, you should study the scout's radio, and the owner of the device can be found between the stones on the ground. He needs to be evacuated. We go to the next yellow zone, there is a second “patient”. He's not far from two cages in a hole with wooden planks. He's injured, so he needs to be sent to base by helicopter, not with Fulton's help.

Episode 18: Blood Ties

Here you have 6 goals. We go to the first location, kill the soldier, then to the mountain opposite, there are also enemies there. Children are sitting in the mine. They must be taken to the evacuation site. One wounded boy will have to be dragged along, ordering the children along the way to keep up. We put all the children in the helicopter. All! More videos and conversations...

Episode 19: On the Trail

As usual, we go to the marked point on the map. There, with binoculars, we explore the base where we need to find the major’s assistant. He sits inside a tent with two guards. When it comes out, you can "scan" it. We look at where he gets in (he changes the car) - he will go where we need him. The major and assistant can either be killed or evacuated.

We jump to the control point, which is high. You need to go through the base, find the grate and the door. Next we follow the road to another door. There is also a destroyed bridge nearby. Go to the waterfall and then left. Next - through the tunnel to the white building. Let's find the boy inside and watch the video.

Now the Fire Man (the same one from the prologue) will appear. Having run out of the building, we head to the tunnel through which we came, but it is already destroyed. Call a helicopter via iDroid (preferably away from you). Now we find water tanks. They need to be detonated when the boss is near them. This way you can neutralize him, but not kill him. When he begins to accumulate energy, run to the helicopter and fly away.

Episode 21: War Economy

We go to the airport, then to the runways. There is a helipad nearby. An arms dealer will fly there. He will enter the building, go up to the second floor and meet with your target, who must be eliminated. There will be conversations and videos again. Something unexpected will happen.

Episode 22: Liberating the Platform

We leave the room where the robot is being made. We call a helicopter, take the task, then go left along the second floor to the goal. We destroy opponents. Until we get to the very top.

Episode 23: White Mamba

We must track down and evacuate the boy, the White Mamba. However, everything is not so simple. He is surrounded by a whole gang of children who will attack you. You can't kill anyone, only stun them. You will find the leader on the wrecked ship. A battle with him awaits you, based on counterattacks. The Mamba will move around the ship, so run after it. When you win, fly to the base together.

Episode 24: Close Encounter

Two people need to be saved. Let's go to the goal. We pass through an outpost, then through another one. We look through binoculars and find a hostage in the car. Let's follow him. We save the girl. We go to the area marked in yellow. The second hostage is among the stones.

Episode 25: The Avenger's True Hand

It is required to save the leader of the children of the commanders and the chief of staff. To make it easier, take Quiet with you with a sniper rifle equipped with a tranquilizer.

Fulton doesn't work here. Only a helicopter, so you'll have to run...

Important: next you will find a story mission related to the disease at the base. Those employees who speak Kikongo should be quarantined. This is the only way to stop the spread of the disease! We do this through the personnel management window. It can take a long time, since there are hundreds and hundreds of sick fighters.

Episode 26: The Hunt

We need to get rid of the slave trader. We see the marked areas, we first go to the small circle near the village. In the tent next to the antenna you need to study the information. Afterwards we find out the route of the target. It is necessary to kill him and the guards before he reaches the Kiziba camp (not critical, but highly desirable).

Episode 27: Root Cause

We need to save a member of the reconnaissance squad. He is not at the first post, he is located at the top, lying on the ground. Study the big yellow circle, you will find it. We evacuate by helicopter.

Episode 28: Code Talker

A story mission related to the search for an old man in a mansion. We go to the goal, we see fog. Bosses from the Skull squad appear. This time they are female snipers, and they all take aim at once. You can find them by looking at rifle sights. We capture the target with binoculars and attack. It's easier to shoot from some kind of rocket launcher, it takes more energy.

Afterwards we find the mansion, go around it and find the door, here is the entrance. We go to the basement, we see barrels of wine. We go even lower and find an old man. If there is no alarm, watch the video. If there is, we interrupt everyone and still watch the video.

Now we rise with grandfather on our shoulders and meet the “zombies”. They're not too strong, so you can handle it. The old man needs to be taken to the helicopter. And again the plot, the plot.

Episode 29: Metal Archaea

The mission is not easy! We must defeat 4 Skulls. You will first need to “remove” their protective layer, and then deal damage to the enemies themselves. When you fight, focus all your attention on one opponent. Shoot from rocket launchers and grenade launchers. Call for a weapon drop if necessary. After winning, take the old man and drag him to the aircraft again. There will be a lot of videos.

Episode 30: Skull

Now we can take revenge on the villain! We find ourselves at its base. There will be a lot of walking and a lot of video, and then a long car ride with the Skull accompanied by an amazing song. The mission is more contemplative; there is practically no need to act here.

Episode 31: Sahelanthropus

Here comes the main boss, the local Metal Gear, the mighty robot Sahelanthropus. Ordinary weapons won't work against him in a fight. Below there is a tank and a installation with a cannon. They are suitable for causing damage to the enemy. When a giant is running towards you, it is better to try to get out of the area. However, powerful versions of rocket launchers are also suitable in the fight against Sahelanthropus (this is how I destroyed him).

When everything around turns red (and this happens when the enemy has less than half HP), you need to leave the affected area and hide, otherwise there is a chance of dying from one shot. At the end, when the enemy has almost no energy, the robot begins to one-shot again. He will be on the hill, sit down, two beams will show the direction of the shot. We hide and shoot from cover. Most often I died at the last stage of the battle.

Chapter 2. Race

So, we've watched a lot of videos, and now we can start completing new tasks. However, not all of them are really new... Many missions of the second chapter are repetitions of those already completed, only with new conditions and an increased level of difficulty. There is no point in describing them again in detail.

Episode 32: Too Much Knowledge

Once on the map, capture an outpost nearby. Next we go to the goal, we see Walker Gear. It is not necessary to destroy them. You can just wait until they leave. You need to save a CIA agent lying in the grass near the rocks.

Additional story quest: Eli's Trial

We meet the White Mamba again - a boy named Eli and who will later play a key role in the entire Metal Gear Solid saga. In this task you will have to fight with him again. The battle is the same, built on counterattacks.

Episode 33. Information war (condition - Autonomy)

There was already such an episode in the first chapter. Only this time, all items and weapons must be obtained on the spot; you cannot take anything with you on the mission. Partners are also unavailable. The rest of the task is similar.

Episode 34: Help and withdrawal (condition - extreme)

Another episode with an increased level of difficulty. We destroy combat vehicles.

Additional task: Evacuation of AI capsule

You need to fly to Afghanistan and pick up a capsule with Artificial Intelligence. No, this is not The Boss. When you receive it, your suspicions about the game's most annoying character, Emmerich, will be confirmed. On the spot you need to either get rid of all the enemies or sneak in unnoticed. Inside the building there is a computer with red lights. We activate it and run away.

Additional mission: Capturing the remains of a burning man

Remember what happened to the burning man at the end of the last chapter? Now we need to collect his remains. However, finding him at the base is not so easy. There are rooms on both sides, but you don't need to go inside. We go to the center of the base on the street, find a platform, there we see a corpse on the mat! Let's go and watch the video. Unexpected, right?

Episode 35: Cursed Inheritance

The task of the old man Code Talker. We go to the same house where he was once found. There are many very strong enemies here. It is better to avoid them. You need to catch one enemy and interrogate him, finding out where the containers are. We go into the house, there on the table there is important information about the containers. During interrogation, you can find out how many soldiers are guarding them. By sending one of them to the base, the countdown will begin until the helicopters appear. Act quickly and have time to escape earlier.

Episode 36: Traces of Ghosts (condition - Invisible)

In this episode you need to do everything the same as before, only with the condition that you should not be detected by enemies.

Episode 37: Caravan of Traitors (condition - Extreme)

A difficult version of the completed mission from the first chapter.

Episode 38: Unusual Phenomenon

We go to the fortress, getting rid of enemies. Now open iDroid, look at the “tasks”, study the description of the goals. Below are their photos. True, the frames are blurry and it’s not so easy to understand something. After some time, Ocelot will send a normal photo. You need to go to the southern part of the ruins. There are columns here. On the side of one of them there is a container with film. It is necessary to pick him up.

Search for Runaway Children 01

We go to the base, go down the cliff, there is a fence there, we need to climb over it. To find out where everyone is (both enemies and targets), take a dog or Silent One with you. Go to the goal quietly, without inviting fire from soldiers and a helicopter flying in the sky. Having taken the child, get into the car and drive away from enemy territory.

Search for runaway children 02

We go to Code Talker's house, where the child is. How to find out where? Interrogate the soldier! Then we take the boy and the job is done.

Search for runaway children 03

Before starting the mission, it is necessary to upgrade Fulton to make it possible to evacuate the children. To do this, your scientific department must be at least level 24. Then we go to the location where we fought with Quiet and complete the mission.

Search for runaway children 04

We go to the half-destroyed building and deal with the enemies. There is a car with a radar on the street. It must be destroyed, then the enemies will not be able to call for reinforcements. Next we go into the building and go up to the 3rd floor. The floor is destroyed, but you can still walk across the floors. There you will see a child.

Search for runaway children 05

Snake wanders through the caves in the rock. The silent one will also come in handy here - she will find the child and show where the zombie soldiers are. We go to where the pond is located. From here a tunnel leads up, where a boy sits.

That's it, we've sorted out the kids!

Episode 39: Behind the Fence (condition - Invisible)

The mission must be completed undetected. True, if you call in air strikes, the task will still be completed. There will be lots and lots of plot ahead.

Episode 40: Surrounded by Silence (condition - Extreme)

Again the same mission, only with the condition that the Quiet One kills with one shot. You can act as before, or you can simply call a tank and shoot at the girl from it.

Episode 41: War by proxy

We must destroy the enemy's equipment. Air attack, a rocket launcher and a tank are your best assistants in the task. When all enemy vehicles are blown up, a helicopter will fly to the map. He also needs to be shot down.

Episode 42: Metal Archaea (condition - Extreme)

These guys were strong even without extreme sports. Now they deal more damage, and they themselves have become even more powerful. What to do? Take with you the Silent One with the most powerful rifle and the best rocket launcher, use air strikes.

Episode 43: The Everlasting Light

Probably the strongest chapter in terms of dramatic power in Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. We find out the truth about the new epidemic... At the base we go to the indicated point, there we communicate with Ocelot and find ourselves in the infected compartment. The game turns into a formal Survival Horror with an appropriate atmosphere. We go upstairs, open the doors, watch the video. Then we go down and kill all the infected. In order to determine who is sick, you need to wear glasses. Next, go to a room where there are many fighters. You need to kill almost everyone except one. We will try to save him and carry him to the exit... But, alas.

Episode 44: Impenetrable darkness (condition - Invisible)

Everything is the same as last time, you just have to go unnoticed. Silent woman to the rescue! And also shelling from the air.

Episode 45: Silent Exit

To activate this mission, you need to have the maximum level of relationship with Silent. To do this, you need to take her on missions more often and pay attention to her at the base.

You should also complete Additional Mission 150 (Capture Quiet) to find out where the girl is being held. For this side mission to appear, you need to listen to all the important audio tapes in MGS 5 (the important ones are the ones marked in yellow).

When all the conditions are met, mission 45 begins. The Silent One is captured by USSR soldiers near the destroyed palace. The massacre begins. A lot of equipment and fighters are trying to stop Snake and his partner. You can handle it if you take a rocket launcher with you and call in air strikes.

We wait for the sandstorm to start and take the heroine to the helicopter. Then Snake is bitten by a snake. Silent One is in charge of the evacuation. Waking up, Snake does not see the heroine, but finds an audio message on a hill near a tree.

It is important to understand that if you complete this task, Silent will no longer be on your team. She left forever. Think carefully before you act.

Episode 46: The Truth: The Man Who Sold the World

This is a repetition of the prologue. Complete and unconditional. The only difference is that the true background of events is revealed to you. After completing it, you will be given an excellent reward and shown a video that changes the history of the entire Metal Gear Solid series.

We also have missions 47, 48, 49 and 50 in stock.

Episode 47: War Economy (Stealth Condition)

The honest execution of this mission is very problematic. It's easier to take a powerful rocket launcher with you and shoot enemies from afar. If you still have Silent, she will also come in handy.

Episode 48: Code Talker (condition - Extreme)

Episode 49: Occupation Forces (condition - Autonomy)

This is episode 8, only with the condition that all the weapons will have to be found on the spot.

Episode 50: Sahelanthropus (condition - Extreme)

Another boss fight. He does everything the same, only now he has become even stronger. Choose your own tactics, but you can win by doing it the old fashioned way.

This ends the walkthrough of Metal Gear Solid 5!

Episodes with Paz

To further reveal the story and restore the memory of the heroine Paz (from Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes), who is on the first deck of the medical platform (easy to miss), you need to find photos with memories. This requires evacuating soldiers in certain missions. There are 10 such photos. These photo soldiers can be found in missions 51-60. There is also an 11th photo available after collecting the first 10. It appears outside of Paz's room on the wall.

Some subtleties

Forced first person mode

MGS can be played as a regular 3D Action game. To do this, quickly press the “First Person View” button twice. Playing in this mode is inconvenient, but sometimes very useful, because in this case you can see further than when looking from above.

Shooting on the run

Under normal circumstances, the Snake (Solid Snake is the name of the main character of the game) can only shoot when he stops. But if you hold down the “Fire” and “Crouch” keys at the same time, the Snake will aim and fire right on the run. In many cases, this tactic can decide the outcome of the battle in your favor.

Hand to hand combat

If you put away your weapon, sneak up close to the enemy from behind and press the “Fire” key, the Serpent will slightly strangle the unlucky soldier. However, it won’t kill you completely, and the soldier, lying on the floor, will recover in a couple of seconds.

The same thing happens when beating unfortunate enemies with your hands and feet (quickly press the “Action” key several times in a row).

In general, hand-to-hand combat is only needed in a few cases when fighting bosses. In all other cases, rely on your trusty pistol.

Items and their uses

Ration– packed rations, restores the Snake’s health. Please note: if you select packed rations as an active item (the corresponding icon will appear in the lower left corner), the Snake will be automatically healed as soon as its health level drops to zero.

Binoculars– binoculars, allows you to view enemies and traps from afar. Scaling is activated by the “Action” key.

Cigarettes- cigarettes. When used, they reduce the Snake’s health (the Ministry of Health warned!), but the smoke allows the laser beams of the alarm system to be detected.

Thermal Goggles- infrared glasses. Allows you to see invisible enemies (such as cyber ninjas), floor traps, Claymores mines and alarm system laser beams.

N.V.G. (Night Vision Goggles)- night-vision device. The purpose is clear from the name.

Body Armor- body armor. Slightly reduces the wounds received by the Snake in battle.

Box A– a cardboard box, you can hide and crawl in it. In addition, if the Serpent hides in a box in the back of a truck, he will automatically be taken to the place in the base whose name is written on the box. For example, box A says "Heliport". This means that the Snake will be transported to a helicopter airfield. The advantages of this method of movement are that precious time is not wasted and no one sees the Snake.

Box B– sitting in this box, the Serpent will move with all the comforts to the nuclear warhead storage warehouse (Nuclear Building).

Box C- and with the help of this box the Serpent will be on a snowy field (Snow Field).

Diazepam– a medicine that temporarily stops hand tremors when using a sniper rifle.

Medicine- a medicine that cures colds. The serpent contracts a cold if he cannot resist Ocelot's torture. A Snake with a cold will sneeze and thus attract the attention of the guards.

Mine Detector– mine detector. Can detect Claymore mines hidden in the snow (the mines can be seen on the radar map).

Handkerchief- handkerchief. If used, the dogs (Wolf-Huskies) in the cave will not attack the Serpent.

Ketchup– spicy ketchup, needed by the Snake to escape from the cell (after torture).

Rope- rope. Needed to descend from Comms Tower A.

MO Disk– magneto-optical disk, contains information about the progress of Metal Gear tests. Not needed in the game.

Level "x" Card– an electronic card that opens doors with level “x” clearance (the clearance level is the number on the door).

PAL Key– key of the locking system. Needed to run Metal Gear.

Camera- camera. Using it you can take photographs (i.e. screenshots).

Weapon

Socom– a pistol with a laser sight. To aim, press the "Fire" key while close to the enemy. As soon as you see a red spot, release "Fire" and your hero will shoot.

The pistol fires single shots, so it is very economical. In addition, over time you will find a suppressor for it. Now you can calmly shoot the guards without fear of raising the alarm.

FAMAS- French assault rifle. Shoots in bursts. The last three bullets in the clip are tracers. They deviate slightly from a straight path to hit the enemy.

PSG-1- Russian-made sniper rifle. As soon as you pick it up, the shooting mode from the optical sight will turn on.

A very effective thing, especially over long distances. Support domestic producers!

Grenades– cumulative grenades. They explode (otherwise you didn’t know!).

Chaff Grenades– temporarily disable electronic systems.

Stun Grenades– temporarily paralyze living enemies.

C4– remote controlled explosives. You install it with the “Fire” key, and blow it up with the “Action” key.

Claymores– mines. They must be placed under the feet of enemies.

Nikita Missiles– guided missiles. Having launched a rocket, you can then control it in flight using the cursor keys. You can also control the rocket by switching to first-person mode.

Stinger Missiles- surface-to-air missiles. They can “capture” a target.

Ammunition replenishment

Packed rations, ammunition, grenades, explosives and missiles are scattered throughout the base. Remember where you found them, and periodically return there - all the items you picked up will respawn.

Frequencies for radio communications

The Serpent contacts his "technical support team" via radio. Its CODEC radio transmitter remembers some frequencies automatically, while others you will have to enter manually. This is done simply using the left/right cursor keys.

To successfully complete the game, you will need to contact Colonel Campbell, his niece Meryl and a scientist named Otacon several times. You have the colonel's frequency from the very beginning of the game, the scientist himself will give you Otacon's frequency, but Meryl's frequency... There is one trick here. The fact is that this frequency is indicated on the branded box with the game. Of course, I know that you all have branded boxes with the game, because you don’t use pirated products. However, just in case, I will indicate the correct frequency.

Don't forget to contact Mei Ling from time to time - you can save the game in a new slot.

All other dialogue participants will simply give you sensible advice or information relevant to the game's plot.

Campbell/Naomi – 140.85

Mei Ling – 140.96

Master Miller – 141.80

Otacon – 141.12

Meryl – 140.15

Nastasha – 141.52

Deep Throat – 140.48

Unknown frequency

The last frequency, the eighth, is unknown. According to rumors, a sound message from the game’s authors was recorded at this frequency. Unfortunately, all my attempts to find out something more specific were unsuccessful.

Walkthrough

On the approaches to the base

At the very beginning you find yourself in a huge room with containers. Three boxes of dry rations (Rations) are scattered around the hall, but it only makes sense to take the box that lies in the water next to the place where the Snake climbs out of the water after the introductory video. It’s better not to go after the rest of the boxes: the risk is great, but the result is not, because for now the Snake can only carry two boxes of rations at a time. And remember a simple truth: not all the objects you see are worth taking. Don't take unnecessary risks.

However, let's return to the Serpent. Pressing against the wall on the left, crawl to the passage along which the soldier is walking.

Watch it carefully and remember the route and time of movement. However, do not rush to follow the soldier, it is useless for now, since the freight elevator (the final goal of our journey) has not yet been lowered. Wait a moment and another soldier will come down on the elevator. Now there are three soldiers in the huge hall. Your task is to follow the first soldier, then quickly slip into the elevator before the third soldier approaches. We must act quickly. In principle, you can jump up to the soldiers, knock them down with kicks (Action key) and immediately run into the elevator. However, I was only able to do this at the two lowest difficulty levels of the game. So I advise you to act quietly and cunningly.

After taking the elevator you will find yourself in front of the helicopter airfield. Watch another cartoon with a Mi-24 flying away (or, using the NATO name for our rotorcraft, Hind). After the cartoon, control of the Serpent will return to you.

Using binoculars, take a good look around. Your task is to get into the base's ventilation system. This can be done through two hatches: one is located at ground level to the left of the gate, the second is on the second floor of the building.

Theoretically, you can use any of the hatches. However, in practice, the hatch on the second floor looks much more attractive. You can get to it in the following way: crawl along the right edge of the map (crawl is mandatory: if the Serpent walks, then there will be traces in the snow, along which the guard will certainly notice you) up until we see the stairs and the surveillance camera. We wait until the camera turns to the side, crawl close to the wall on which the camera is mounted (in this case the Snake is not visible), then crawl onto the stairs.

However, there is no need to rush to the second floor. First, crawl to the left of the security camera. Next to the closed gate to the base you will see a cargo all-terrain vehicle. Climb into its body, and there you will find your first weapon - the Socom pistol. You can also look into the small shed at the left edge of the map, there is another security camera and Chaff Grenades. On the way there you will see a guard dozing right at the combat post next to the ventilation system hatch. Do not try to use this hatch - no matter how hard you try, the Serpent will hit the guard and raise the alarm. The guard can be killed, but this will also alarm the enemies, since you do not yet have a silencer for the pistol.

Therefore, go up the stairs to the second floor, wait until the guard patrolling there goes in the other direction, and crawl after him. Somewhere in the middle of the second floor you will come across the hatch you need. Crawl in there.

Base, building complex 1

Crawl through the ventilation shaft. The snake will overhear a conversation between two soldiers. In the end, your hero will find himself on the gallery of the second floor of the hangar with tanks. In the room on the right, take the Thermal Goggles. Go around the entire gallery, go down. After waiting for a moment, jump into the huge elevator and go to floor B1.

Once there, go along the corridor (you are not yet able to open any of the doors on this floor). Climb the stairs and climb into the air duct (this is what the soldiers were talking about, whose conversation you overheard earlier). In the right branch you can look through the “window” behind the guard sitting on the toilet and find cartridges for a pistol. Go back a little and turn left this time. Through the “window” below, the Serpent will see (go to first-person mode) Meryl practicing in her cell.

Crawl further and look into the next chamber. After this, the Snake will automatically jump down and find itself next to the first hostage - the head of DARPA. After talking with him, the Snake will receive a key card of the first level of access (LV 1) and a special PAL key to launch Metal Gear. Then something strange will happen to the prisoner, and he will seem to die (you will find out what will actually happen later, at the end of the game).

Crawl under the bed, take the ration there. Next, exit the cell into the corridor. There you will meet Meryl, after which there will be a rather lengthy shootout with enemies. Stand to the left of the girl so that the soldiers running through the door automatically come into your sights. This fight is not particularly difficult.

After the shootout ends, Meryl will run away, and you will encounter Psycho Mantis for the first time. Check the open security rooms and take the elevator down to floor B2.

There are six storage rooms in the large hall, but for now you can only enter three rooms. Be careful, because trap hatches are hidden in the narrow passages between the warehouses. You must overcome them either by running or by clinging close to the walls on the sides.

The three rooms you can get into contain C4 explosives, grenades, and Socom ammo. You can use explosives to blow up passages in the walls - the places of such passages are easy to find if you look at the walls in first-person mode. Two passages are located to the right and left of the elevator, and the third is in the southwest corner of the hall. There, go along the corridor and blow up the passage in the lower right corner. Enter and get ready to fight the first boss.

Boss 1 – Revolver Ocelot

Destroyed by: Socom pistol (10 hits)

Approximate time required: 1-3 minutes

In the center of the hall, a hostage is tied to an iron truss - the president of the ArmsTech company. There are wires strung around it connected to explosive charges. If you carelessly touch them or your stray shot hits the charges (Ocelot's shots never hit them), then everything will explode to hell and you will have to start the battle again. Therefore, be careful and better not pick up cartridges lying next to the wires: in the heat of battle, you may accidentally miscalculate your movements. Don't rush to shoot, aim accurately first. And don’t try to fire many shots in a row - you’ll quickly waste ammo.

In general, you can finish off Ocelot very easily. Switch to high-speed first-person mode and run after him, aiming as you go. As soon as he stops to shoot at you, shoot yourself.

Base, building complex 1

After Ocelot escapes, talk to ArmsTech President Kenneth Baker, who will give the Serpent a Level 2 key card (LV 2). After which he suddenly died, seemingly from a heart attack.

Return to the large hall with six storage rooms. Keep in mind that the hall is now patrolled by soldiers. Look into the room in the southeast. There you will find a French assault rifle FAMAS and ammunition for it. Be careful - there is a laser alarm system around the rifle. To get around it, wear infrared glasses or light cigarettes - the laser beams will become visible.

Go to the elevator and go up to the first floor (to the hangar with tanks). In the northwest corner of the hangar (do not go up to the gallery) in the room, take the Suppressor for the Socom pistol. Now you can calmly shoot enemies - the shots will not attract the attention of other soldiers. Now go up to the gallery and grab grenades, Cardboard Box A and a Mine Detector in the side rooms.

Go down to the hangar, go to the gate next to the elevator. Radio contact Meryl. After the conversation, she will open the gates. Come inside. Another trap awaits you - a system of moving laser beams. If you touch any of them, the room will be filled with poisonous gas. Wear infrared goggles and crawl through the alarm system. Don't rush, wait for the opportunity when the next ray starts to rise, and only then crawl over. Please note that different beams travel at different speeds. Be extremely careful!

When you go out into the open, a mysterious person named Deepthroat will contact you. After listening to him, immediately turn on the Mine Detector. On the radar map you will see the location of Claymores anti-personnel mines. To disarm a mine, the Serpent must carefully crawl onto it from the side where it “isn’t looking.” If you have free space, the mine will be in your “backpack”.

Having stocked yourself with mines, carefully move forward towards a new challenge.

Boss 2 – Vulcan Raven in a tank (first encounter)

Destroyed by: cumulative grenades (2 precise hits at Very Easy difficulty level, at other difficulty levels – 3 grenades)

The enemy acts as follows: at a great distance the Snake is fired at from a large cannon, but nearby a soldier leans out of the hatch and begins to spray machine-gun fire at our hero. Plus, the tank itself does not stand still and constantly strives to run over the Snake with its caterpillars.

The tactics are simple: take out the big gun Chaff Grenade, quickly run up to the tank and, when the machine gunner appears, throw grenades at him. Just don’t get carried away and don’t stand in one place, otherwise the tank will wrap you around its tracks. In fact, the battle is not very difficult, the main thing is not to rush to throw grenades, otherwise, before you know it, you will be left without ammunition. On easy difficulty levels, additional grenades can be picked up behind the iron tank in the upper right corner.

By the way, if you are annoyed by the tank’s ability to drive fast, you can place Claymores mines that you have selected on its path. This will not cause any damage to the shooter, but the tank will not drive as quickly.

Base, building complex 1

After defeating the tank, you will receive a key card for the third level of clearance (LV 3). Return to floor B2 of the first complex of buildings (where there are six storage rooms). Now you can get into new rooms where the Nikita rocket launcher is located.

Go to the snowy field where the tank was recently destroyed. From there, go north.

Base, building complex 2

Walking forward a little and crawling under the raised gate, you will find yourself in a new hall. You cannot use weapons here, because there is a danger of getting into nuclear warheads, which lie quietly to the left of the entrance. Your task is to get to the elevator in the gallery. To do this, move to the left, go up the stairs and, when the soldier patrolling the gallery goes in the other direction, quickly call the elevator and jump inside. Go to floor B2.

Look around. Through the window to the left of the elevator, you can see a generator that powers the floor traps in the long corridor below. Your task is to destroy the generator. To do this, enter through the doors that open, stop immediately and pull out the Nikita rocket launcher and shoot. The rocket can be controlled using the cursor keys (or better yet, after firing, switch to first-person mode). Take the rocket first down to the fork, from there to the left, then up and finally turn right. If you can’t get there for sure, don’t be discouraged - you can replenish the ammunition for Nikita either by returning to the weapons depot in building complex 1 (where you took Nikita itself), or by going up one floor (the missiles are in one of the rooms in the hall opposite the elevator ).

However, the whole matter is complicated by the fact that the corridor where you are standing is filled with gas, so the Snake will have to hold his breath (the remaining oxygen in his lungs will be displayed as a blue stripe). When there is very little oxygen, go back through the doors.

After destroying the generator, look into the southeastern room (be careful with the machine guns on the walls). There's a gas mask there. Take it and go down to the fork. Turn right and open the door. Behind it there will be a corridor, literally covered with corpses. This is the job of a cyber ninja.

Walk along the corridor, open the door to the laboratory and get ready for, in my opinion, the most interesting (albeit uncomplicated) fight in the game.

Boss 3 – Cyber-Ninja

Destroyed: in hand-to-hand combat (60 hits)

The Ninja moves all the time, running up to the Snake only to slash him with his sword.

It is useless to shoot at him at first - he deflects the bullets with his sword. Regular grenades are also useless - your opponent will simply dodge them.

Put away your weapon and fight hand-to-hand (when you find yourself close to the enemy, quickly press “Action” several times).

You can use Chaff Grenades, this will knock out the ninja for a few seconds. Get close to him and hit him with your hands.

When you hurt him badly enough, the ninja's tactics will change - he will begin to disappear. Use the infrared goggles to locate it.

After missing a few more hits, the ninja will move on to active action. Running up to the Serpent, he disappears to appear behind our hero and strike. Our actions: as soon as the ninja disappears, we run a little to the side. Then we wait for him to hit, we run up and hit him ourselves.

When a ninja's health bar is completely reduced, a force field will appear around his body. Now take out your FAMAS and shoot the enemy from a distance.

Base, building complex 2

After the ninja runs away in an unknown direction, talk to the scientist hidden in the closet. He will tell you a lot of interesting things, including the story of his love for Japanese cartoons about giant robots. In addition, the scientist will give you a key card of the fourth level of clearance (LV 4), and a new “subscriber” will appear among the radio frequencies of your Codec - Otacon.

Return to the corridor where the generator was previously blown up. Open previously inaccessible doors and stock up on useful things, including a Night Vision Gogles.

Go up to floor B1. Stand at the column to the right of the elevator and wait until a guard passes into the toilet nearby. If you look closely at him, it is not difficult to recognize the woman. This is our old friend Meryl. As soon as she enters the door, run after her and go to the far booth.

A long conversation will take place between the main characters, as a result of which a decision will be made to act together. Meryl will undertake to show the way to Metal Gear Rex.

But don't rush to follow the girl. First, visit the large hall opposite the elevator. There, look through all the doors that open and pick up ammo, Cardboard Box B and Stun Grenades (required!).

Now follow Meryl. In the end, you will face another meeting with the enemy elite.

Boss 4 – Psycho Mantis

Destroyed by: SOCOM or FAMAS (20 shots)

Approximate time required: 5-10 minutes

From the very beginning, Meryl will fall under the influence of Mantis's telepathic abilities and will attack the Serpent. You can’t shoot at her - she’s a fighting friend after all.

Either choke her out a few times or knock her out straight away with Stun Grenade.

But then the most interesting thing begins - Mantis will begin to read the Serpent’s thoughts. In the “native” console version it looked like this: Mantis constantly dodged bullets and grenades, knowing exactly all the actions of the Serpent. To stop this disgrace, it was necessary to contact Colonel Campbell several times until he revealed the secret: it was necessary to switch to the second PlayStation controller.

When the game was transferred to PC, all these subtleties were lost. Indeed, if you play Metal Gear Solid with a joystick, Mantis will dodge your shots. But if you play through the game on the keyboard, then Mantis won’t be able to do any tricks. The fact is that in the PC version of the game the keyboard plays the role of a second controller. It’s a shame that such an elegant moment has disappeared - after all, not everyone in Russia has gamepads, and controlling the Snake with a regular joystick is not very convenient.

So, control your hero using the keyboard. Dodge the pieces of furniture that Mantis will throw at you. If the telepath starts to disappear, put on infrared glasses.

When your shots greatly reduce Mantis' life bar, he will once again decide to use Meryl. Well, throw Stun Grenade again. Remember - the girl must stay alive.

Base, building complex 2

Before his death, Mantis will tell the Snake the story of his life and, driven by the desire to do something good at least once, will open a secret door. Go there.

Next you have to overcome a cave with wolves. Since it is dark there, use a night vision device. Carefully examine the cave and remember the path to the exit. Be aware that there is a passage near the cave exit that you can crawl through. You will find yourself in a small room where many interesting things lie.

Having collected everything you can, open the last door and go out into a new area.

Meryl will show you a safe path through the minefield. Follow her quickly, otherwise the tracks in the snow will disappear and you will have to rely on your memory.

When you pass the minefield, get ready for another surprise. Meryl will be wounded by shots from sniper Wolfe, who is positioned far ahead on a small hill.

You are not yet able to help Meryl. To fight Wolf on equal terms, you need the appropriate weapon. Talk to the colonel on the radio and go to building complex 1.

Base, building complex 1

You need to go down to floor B2, to the armory (where they once took the FAMAS assault rifle and the Nikita rocket launcher). Look behind the only door that has not been opened before - there is a PSG-1 sniper rifle there. However, do not let your guard down as there is an alarm around the rifle. Wear infrared glasses and the laser beams will become visible. Now you can carefully crawl towards the rifle. After receiving the rifle, return to the place where you left Meryl.

By the way, when going through the cave with the wolves, be sure to rummage through all the nooks and crannies - you will find cartridges for the PSG-1.

SECOND PAGE

Base, on the way to the first communications tower

Meryl disappeared, leaving only a blood stain on the snow. Lie down near the corner of the wall and take out the PSG-1.

Boss 5 – Sniper Wolf (first encounter)

Destroyed: PSG-1 (5 shots)

Approximate time required: 4-5 minutes

Avoid moving through open space, as the sniper can easily shoot you at this moment. Use the corner of the wall (right or left - it doesn’t matter) as cover from the female sniper’s bullets. When you take it on yourself, swallow Diazepam. This will save you from trembling in your hands.

If Wolfe herself hides behind the wall, then the easiest way to find her is with the help of infrared glasses.

Pay close attention to your health. When it reaches a critical point, hide around the corner and heal.

Base, on the way to the first communications tower

After you're done with the sniper, go forward. However, you can take your time and go back first to restore your ammunition, although this is not essential.

When you reach the place where Wolfe fired at you, turn right and approach the door. Here the Snake will be surrounded and captured.

Plot fork

After the Serpent is captured, he will be tortured by Ocelot. At this point the plot of the game branches out. If the Serpent cannot withstand the torture and breaks (press the “Select” key), then at the end of the game Meryl dies, and as a prize we will then be given the Stealth optical camouflage system (invisibility).

If the Serpent survives the torture (quickly press the “Action” key to restore health, you will need to withstand three series of “impact”), then Meryl will remain alive, and at the end we will receive a bandana (infinite ammo).

Remember: you can replay Metal Gear Solid as many times as you like, so both of these prizes will be yours in the end.

Base, building complex 1

After torture, the Snake will be placed in a cell. There he will see the corpse of the head of DARPA (remember the first black hostage?). Talk to Otacon on the radio (he will promise to help), then contact your superiors.

After some time, the Snake will be taken to torture again. The rules of the game are the same as last time. However, now, after our hero withstands the next portion of electricity, Ocelot will give birth to a long speech. From it we learn that Ocelot is Russian by origin and got involved in this whole adventure not for the sake of money, but for ideological reasons. He hopes that the Russians will buy Metal Gear Rex and Russia will once again take its rightful place in the world. Honestly, I even wanted to help him, but alas, the game was made by the “correct” Japanese with an eye on the “good” Americans, so the “bad” Russians cannot count on winning.

After the Snake is returned to the cell, watch the guard outside the window (switch to first-person mode). The guard will soon get a stomach ache and run to the toilet. This is where Otacon will appear. He will give the Snake a key card of the sixth level of clearance (LV 6), a sniper’s handkerchief and a bottle of ketchup.

Before the Serpent has time to properly talk to his assistant, the sound of footsteps of the returning guard will soon be heard. Otacon will run away, and you need to get out of the cell. There are two ways to do this: quickly crawl under the bed or spill ketchup and lie in a puddle of “blood.” In both cases, the guard will open the door and come closer. Jump up and run out of the cell (if you don’t have time to escape, the guard will lock the door). When the guard runs out after you, beat him with your hands and feet until you knock him out.

Now go through the door where the guard came from. A little further you will see a torture machine. There is a large box next to it. It contains things and weapons taken from you by the guards.

Be careful! Once you get your belongings back, check your inventory! Often among things you come across an object whose purpose is unknown, but which has a timer. This is a bomb planted by Ocelot just in case. If found, throw it away immediately. By the way, if you forgot to check your things, then at lower difficulty levels of the game your mysterious benefactor, Deepthroat, will remind you of this. He will get in touch and tell you about the bomb.

In addition to the bomb, sometimes another surprise awaits you - the Snake can catch a cold and get sick. In this case, he will often sneeze and thereby attract the attention of the guards. Colds need to be cured.

But first, go down to level B2 of building complex 1 (it is in this building complex that the torture chamber is located). Be careful, because there are now homing machine guns attached to automatic surveillance cameras. Go to the place where your first meeting with Ocelot took place. Without directly entering the room where you fought, look at the wall on the right. Yeah, it can also be blown up with C4.

The opened passage will lead you to two new rooms, where you can take Chaff Granedes and a camera (Camera).

Building complex 2

Here, take the elevator to floor B2. Go along the corridor, the floor of which was previously energized (you also shot from the Nikita Launcher here, remember?). At the fork, turn left and open the previously inaccessible door. Take the Body Armor from the room.

Now I need to recover from my cold. Go to level B1 (where you talked to Meryl in the toilet).

Enter the hall in the south opposite the elevator and look into the middle room on the left. Here's your cold medicine.

When passing through a cave with wolves, use the sniper's handkerchief, and the wolves will not touch you.

Inside the first communications tower

Prepare FAMAS. Enter the door where you were grabbed. Walk along the corridor, in the room be sure to take the rope (Rope). The guards will come running here. Put them down and immediately run out the other door.

You will find yourself on the stairs leading to the top of the first communications tower (Comm Tower A). Soldiers will constantly follow you - don’t waste time on them, because you won’t be able to kill them all anyway. Just use the body armor and run up, sometimes shooting enemies in front and behind. On the way you will come across a door. Try to open it - Otacon will get in touch and explain that the door is jammed due to the cold. We'll have to keep climbing.

Eventually you will reach the very top.

On the roof

Take a breath, go out onto the roof and watch a cartoon about how Liquid can fly a Mi-24.

Stand right next to the railing and use the rope. Next, you need to be able to go down without dying under helicopter fire or being cooked in the steam released by the pipes. Use the “Shift” key to push off from the wall, then press “down” and slide along the rope. Keep in mind that the "right" and "left" keys allow you to "walk" the wall from side to side, thus dodging helicopter shots and steam from the pipes.

Once you reach the bottom, don't rush to move. Restore your health, put on a bulletproof vest. Without leaving the door, pick up a sniper rifle and look north. Do you see three soldiers? They must be removed from the PSG-1, otherwise they simply will not let you get closer. If there is too little ammo for the PSG-1, use the Nikita Launcher.

Once you're done with the soldiers, take the C4 on the right. Detonate a couple of charges at the door, then it can be opened (remember what Otacon told you?). Once inside the tower, you can pick up the ammo scattered on the stairs.

Inside the second communications tower

Move forward, grab the Stinger missile launcher and the missiles for it.

Try calling the elevator. You won't succeed, but that's how it should be according to the plot of the game. Go down the stairs until you come across a blown up flight of stairs. Return to the elevator, talk to Otacon (in principle, you can talk to him right away, without calling the elevator and without going down to the flight).

At the end of the conversation, go up the stairs. Along the way you will meet automatic machine guns. You can destroy them with the Stinger, or you can simply run past (don't forget to wear body armor!). In the latter case, the Serpent will be hit several times, but you will save missiles. By the way, you can also use Chaff Grenades to temporarily disable machine guns.

At the end of the path you will reach an attic. Collect ammo and go to the roof.

Boss 6 – Hind D (Mi-24)

Destroyed by: Stinger Missiles (15 shots)

Approximate time required: 10-15 minutes

The main thing in this battle is patience.

Put on Body Armor. When the helicopter starts shooting, hide behind the containers at the entrance. Immediately after the salvo, jump out of cover, release the Stinger and hide behind the containers again. You can replenish your supply of Stingers on the platform at the bottom right.

At a certain point in the battle, Liquid will fire a rocket at the platform on the lower right. Be careful and don't come under fire.

When the helicopter's health bar is greatly reduced, Liquid will disappear from sight. Use the Stingers' "lock on" ability and, as soon as Liquid appears again, shoot immediately.

Inside the second communications tower

Your assistant Otacon will report that everything is in order with the elevator. But as soon as the Serpent enters the cabin, an unpleasant surprise will await him - four invisible enemies. You can put on infrared glasses, and enemies will immediately become visible, after which it will not be difficult to deal with them using FAMAS or Socom.

Having finished the little disassembly, exit the elevator and take the ammunition nearby. Next, exit the communications tower into fresh air.

Boss 7 – Sniper Wolf (second encounter)

Destroyed: PSG 1, Nikita Missiles (8 shots), Stinger Missiles

Approximate time required: 3-5 minutes

You have three ways to finish off a sniper.

The first is the “story” one, using a sniper rifle. Ammo for PSG 1 can be picked up from the tree on the left and from the wall on the right. When your hands begin to tremble, take Diazepam.

The second is to use Nikita missiles. Hide behind the rocks in the lower left corner, release Nikita and, switching to first-person mode, direct the missile towards the target.

The third way is to fire Stinger missiles at the sniper.

A conversation will take place between the Snake and the mortally wounded Wolfe, from which we learn the tragic story of a female sniper. War always cripples someone's destinies, and its victims are more worthy of pity than hatred.

Snowy field

Check all the small buildings. In them you will find Diazepam, ammunition, grenades, packed rations and Cardboard Box C. But be careful - there are Claymores mines on the floor. So use your mine detector.

Behind the door to the north (central) you will enter a corridor that will lead you to a new area. Note that there are a couple of machine guns in this room.

Base, building complex 3

You find yourself in a room with a smelting furnace. Finish off the guard hanging around nearby, pick up the ammo and go along the iron walkway to the left. When you reach the end, press yourself against the wall and move sideways to the north (left and up keys). Under no circumstances release the left key, otherwise the Serpent will fall down into the boiling metal. There is a crane running along the cornice that can push the Snake. To prevent this from happening, squat. Having reached the end of the cornice, go down. Grab all the items and look through the door to the south.

You are in a boiler room. Be careful, otherwise the steam emissions can greatly damage the health of the Snake. After collecting all the ammo in this room (there is also ammo for the PSG-1), go west and crawl under the pipes.

You will find yourself on a platform with two machine guns. Blow up the machine guns with Stinger missiles or use Chaff Grenade. Pick up the rockets and return to the boiler room, and from there to the main hall of the smelting furnace.

Exit through the north door.

Walking forward a little, you will see a freight elevator platform. Fiddle with the control panel (you need to stand next to the remote control and press the “Action” key), and the elevator will begin to go down.

But the journey will not be easy - three guards will jump onto the platform. Put on your body armor and have your FAMAS ready. Don't stand in one place and don't let enemies get closer to you, otherwise the Snake will be knocked down and he will become an easy target. Concentrate fire on one of the enemies until his body disappears completely.

When the elevator reaches the end of the descent, do not rush to move. Switch to first person mode and look around. There is a machine gun on the wall to the east. Destroy him with the Stinger.

Wear infrared goggles. The fact is that there are Claymores mines placed in front, which you will not be able to detect, because your radar does not work and, accordingly, the mine detector does not work either. However, with infrared goggles you will see mines. You can crawl through the mines and get to the second freight elevator. By the way, I strongly recommend that you replenish your supply of mines, because they will come in handy in the very near future.

Turn on the second freight elevator and go down. Along the way, you will be joined by many crows, and the air temperature will drop significantly. By the way, if you stay in a cold room for a long time, your packed lunch will freeze and you will not be able to use it (i.e., receive treatment). To defrost packed rations, go to the room with the melting furnace and stand there for a while.

Pick up all the items in the cold room and go north towards the next test of strength.

Boss 8 – Vulcan Raven (second encounter)

Destroyed by: Nikita Missiles, Stinger Missiles, Claymores

Approximate time required: 5-7 minutes

Switch between dry rations and body armor as needed.

Raven has a very wide field of vision, but the stacked boxes make it difficult for him to see you. Use this factor to your advantage.

Don't catch his eye, but run behind him and fire a rocket. Remember - the rocket will only hit if Raven does not see it.

When the enemy starts running (after losing about 25 percent of his life), try placing Claymores mines in his path. Just don’t blow yourself up on them!

Base, building complex 3

At the end of the duel, a conversation will take place between Raven and the Serpent, during which some secrets will become clear. When Raven "reconnects with nature", go north.

Ahead of you is a hall with several trap hatches in the floor, and then there are many machine guns mounted on the walls. The easiest way to get past them is to throw a Chaff Grenade and then quickly run north to the door.

Hangar

You are in front of Metal Gear Rex. Go right, climb up the stairs. Next, walk a little more along the walkway and climb onto the roof of the combat vehicle. Talk to your superiors over the radio, then climb down the stairs on the left and go to the control room. On the way you will come across a guard. If you do not have time to finish him off quickly and quietly, the alarm will be raised. To make it stop, climb back onto the roof of the Rex or climb the steps of the small ladder next to the control room.

Once at the entrance to the control room, you can overhear the conversation between Liquid and Ocelot. At the end of their conversation, the Snake will be noticed, and Ocelot will knock the PAL key out of the hands of our hero with a precise shot.

Run to Rex again, climb onto the roof and wait for the alarm to subside. Next, go down and climb into the water for the key. In most cases, he just lies at the bottom of the drain on the left, which is guarded by an automatic machine gun. But sometimes you have to look in the drain on the right, next to the stairs leading to Rex. There were cases when a rat took possession of the key and it was necessary to first knock the key out of it. By the way, if you wander through the water for a long time, there is a high probability of accidentally picking up a bomb - like the one that Ocelot planted in the Snake’s things (after torture). Therefore, be sure to thoroughly check all items and weapons.

Return upstairs to the control room. Before you go inside, throw Chaff Grenade. Otherwise, you will be spotted by surveillance cameras, the door will close, gas will fill the room, and the game will end.

After running into the control room, stand at the laptop on the far left (with the yellow symbol on the screen) and have your PAL key ready. The first code has been entered. Now you need to enter the remaining two. To do this you will have to run. The fact is that the PAL key is made of a heat-sensitive alloy. When the temperature of the key changes, its shape also changes. The first laptop was turned on with a key heated to room temperature.

The second laptop (in the middle, with a blue symbol on the screen) is turned on with a cooled key. To cool the key, you need to return to the hall where the fight with Vulcan Raven took place and stand there for a while. Look at the key periodically and you will soon see that its color has changed. Return to the control room and enter the second code.

The third code (the rightmost laptop with the red symbol) requires a heated key. You can heat the key in the boiler room (a room with a smelting furnace). There you also need to stand and wait for a while.

During all these wanderings, your bosses will contact you. Several shocking moments will be revealed, and the plot of the game will become even more twisted.

Back in the control room, enter the third code. Something completely unexpected will happen. Next, the doors will close and the room will be filled with gas. Put on your gas mask and radio Otacon. After a while he will open the door. Get out and go right. You will see Liquid ahead. An important conversation will take place between the two tough guys, finally explaining all the dark parts of the game’s plot, and then the next battle will begin.

Boss 9 – Metal Gear Rex (first phase)

Approximate time required: 5 minutes

Use body armor. Throw Chaff Grenades and immediately shoot "Stingers" at the antenna "dish" on the monster's left shoulder.

Another option: shoot at the “plate”, then run between the legs of the car (the rocket salvo does not hit the target). Wait for the enemy to turn around and shoot again, then run between the legs. But be careful not to get close to the steel monster's right leg, otherwise you will be crushed.

By the way, you can try to run between the legs of the car by attaching a cardboard box to the Snake. For some unknown reason, this confuses the enemy.

After the Serpent damages the “plate” sufficiently, an old friend will come to his aid. Another story scene will occur, after which you will have to fight again.

Boss 10 – Metal Gear Rex (second phase)

Destroyed by: Stinger Missiles (7 shots)

Approximate time required: 3 minutes

Liquid will open the cockpit so he can see you. It is in this cabin that you shoot the Stingers.

The battle tactics are the same as before.

On the roof of Metal Gear Rex

The blast wave throws the Snake aside, he hits the wall and loses consciousness. Liquid drags him onto the roof of the cabin of the defeated steel monster. After a long conversation and several important radio messages, Liquid explains to Snake the rules of their last (as he believes) duel. Our hero has three minutes to defeat the enemy. If the Serpent does not make it in time, the bomb will explode. However, due to the fact that after the start of the countdown Liquid continues to speak for a little while, a little more than two and a half minutes are actually allotted for the battle.

Boss 10 – Liquid Snake (first fight)

Destroyed: in hand-to-hand combat (65 hits)

Time limit: 2 minutes 30 seconds

The most difficult challenge in the entire game.

This is a one on one fight. No weapons, only fists. Moreover, it’s better not to fall from the platform - in Hard and Expert modes, these falls are fatal.

Run up to Liquid, hit him and run back. Don’t hesitate, because immediately after your attacks, Liquid becomes invulnerable for several seconds.

Don't try to choke him from behind - he'll just throw you away. From time to time Liquid begins to growl. This means that in the next moment he will rush at the Serpent. You can dodge these running attacks only by falling to the floor (Crouch key).

Have time to get away

At this point there is a plot fork. If you surrendered earlier during the torture by Ocelot, then Meryl dies and Otacon will help the Serpent. If you survived the torture, then Meryl will come to her senses. There will be no love scene between the heroes, because the hangar ceilings will begin to collapse. We'll have to get out of here.

As soon as control returns to you, run left. Be sure to pick up a packed lunch, otherwise you won't be able to win!

Run into the garage and turn down. Without getting into a fight with the guards (you don’t have a weapon), run to the left. Take your time and maneuver until Meryl (or Otacon) starts the jeep. Climb into it and shoot with a machine gun at the barrels next to the door. Don't waste time on security.

The barrels will explode and the jeep will rush through the underground tunnel. Turn the machine gun to the right in advance. At the first checkpoint, shoot the barrels again first - this way you will quickly destroy the guards.

The first checkpoint will be followed by another one. There are no barrels there anymore, so pour lead on your enemies, focusing on one target.

Having passed the second checkpoint, turn the machine gun back. Soon the headlights of another car will appear from behind...

Boss 11 – Liquid Snake (last encounter)

At the last moment, Liquid will try to destroy your jeep. Just spray it with fire, moving the barrel from side to side: you have endless cartridges.

The final

After completing all the cutscenes, your assistant will give you a special item. If Meryl is with you, then this will be a bandana, and if you finished the game with Otacon, then you will receive his invisibility suit.

And don’t forget to wait until the end of the credits - a surprise awaits you (provided, however, that you understand English properly).

Secrets and jokes

Stealth– to get optical camouflage (invisibility), you need to surrender to Ocelot during torture. In this case, Meryl will die, and Otacon will give you his cloaking device. Start the game again over the old save, and Stealth will be among Snake's items from the very beginning of the game. Stealth makes our hero invisible to all enemies, excluding bosses and wolves.

In addition, you will still have to go through battles that are important for the development of the plot (for example, a shootout after the “death” of the first hostage).

Bandana– to get the bandana, you need to endure Ocelot’s torture. Then Meryl will remain alive. If after this you start a new game over the old save, the bandana will be among the Snake's things from the very beginning of the game. The bandana provides infinite ammo for the selected weapon (as long as the bandana itself remains an active item)

Camera– the camera allows you to take pictures during the game (i.e. take screenshots). You can get it this way: when the Serpent has a level 6 key card, return to the room where you first fought with Ocelot (Second Floor Basement, Hangar). Don't enter it, look to the right. You will see a sealed passage in the wall. Place C4 there and blow it up. You will gain access to new rooms. One of them will contain a camera.

Tracer cartridges for FAMAS– first you will need to get a bandana (see above). Next, find the FAMAS and fire all but the last three rounds. Equip the bandana and your assault rifle will now only fire tracer rounds.

Peaceful wolves– there are two methods to get through the cave with wolves without resorting to weapons.

First method– use sniper Wolf’s scarf.

Second- enter the cave after Meryl, kill all the wolves except the wolf puppy. Then prepare a cardboard box (any kind) and shoot at Meryl. Immediately hide in the box. Meryl will order the puppy to attack you. He will come up, smell the box and... relieve a “natural need” on it. After that, when you enter the cave, put this box on yourself, and no one will touch you.

Offended Mei Ling– if you contact Mei Ling ten times in a row and do not save the game, the girl will be offended by the Snake and will not talk to him anymore, but will only stick her tongue out at him.

Meryl exercising– when the Serpent climbs through the ventilation pipes to free the first hostage (the boss of Darpa), then along the way he will come across another grate in the floor. If you switch to first person mode and look down, you will see Meryl doing physical exercise. If you go back, climb into the ventilation pipe again and look at Meryl again, she will perform a different exercise. Repeat this two more times, and you will see Meryl in her underwear (alas, there will be nothing special there).

Meryl without pants– later in the game you will meet Meryl in the women's restroom (just before the battle with Mantis). If you jump into the toilet immediately behind her (you can recognize Meryl, disguised as a soldier, by her gait - no uniform will spoil such hips) and run up to the last stall, then you can take Meryl by surprise. As a result, she will spend the entire subsequent long conversation with the Snake without pants. Again, nothing special, but nice to see.

Meryl blushes– if you look at Meryl for a long time in first-person mode, she will begin to get embarrassed, ask stupid questions and finally blush.

The view from Meryl's eyes- Just before the battle with Mantis begins, you will find yourself in the base commander's room. Switch to first person mode. You will see the world around you through Meryl's eyes.

Objective: Evacuate a soldier who can translate from Russian.

Once you complete this mission, you will be able to interrogate all the Soviet soldiers, who will tell you about the hostages, rough diamonds, specialists, commanders and blueprints.

Go to the point marked on the map and you will see a small building with a red door. Two soldiers located on the street guard this building. The translator will probably be located inside it. Periodically, he stretches his legs by going outside. You shouldn't kill the guy with the red beret. The remaining enemies can be destroyed. As soon as you look at the translator through the binoculars, he will be marked as a target. Hit him, then evacuate him with the Fulton and the mission will be completed.

2. Evacuation of the translator (Pashto)

Objective: Evacuate a soldier who can translate Pashto.

Move towards the marker and you will see a hostage lying on the ground surrounded by two soldiers. In total, the guard post can accommodate 6 opponents. First, deal with those enemies who patrol separately from the rest. Finally, leave two soldiers who guard the prisoner. Kill or evacuate everyone, and then free the prisoner himself.

3. Evacuation of the interpreter (Afrikaans)

Objective: Evacuate a soldier who can translate Afrikaans.

By helicopter, land closer to the indicated location. Unlike story missions, you will have to open the map yourself and place a mark in the marked blue area. The translator you need, as in the case of a Russian-speaking one, is an ordinary soldier. You will find three soldiers, one of whom will need to be evacuated.

Use binoculars to determine which one is the translator. Evacuate him and the task will be completed. If it rains and the level of the evacuation team is too low, then it is better not to risk it and take the translator out by helicopter.

4. Evacuation of the interpreter (Kikongo)

Objective: Evacuate a soldier who can translate Kikongo.

Follow the indicated location. The translator is a prisoner and is in one of the tents of the northeastern guard post of the Munko Ya Nioka station.

In the same tent you can find a drawing. It is best to kill or neutralize all the soldiers, and then evacuate the hostage himself, who is the translator.

Capture drawings

5. Capture drawings: RIOTSMG
MGS 5 Walkthrough

Get to Vialo Village to find the blueprint for the RIOTSMG weapon. In the screenshot below you can see the location of this drawing. You can interrogate some soldiers who will show you the location of the drawing.

6. Capture drawings: STUNARM

Objective: Capture blueprints for the main base's research department.

You can find the drawing in the screenshot below, which shows the layout of the power plant. You'll just have to go upstairs. You'll have to deal with at least three guards.

7. Capture drawings: IR-SENSOR
Metal Gear Solid 5. Walkthrough

Evacuation of an experienced fighter

11. Evacuation of an experienced fighter 01
Walkthrough of Metal Gear Solid 5

After you reach the mark on the map, you will see a bridge near a small outpost. There is a cliff at the other end. The soldier you need is on top of the cliff, accompanied by two regular enemies. If you go across the bridge, he will shoot at you, but will be marked on the map as a target.

The best way to get to it is to go down into the ravine and climb the wall opposite. Go around all this to the left and you can crawl up the slope. You can shoot all three soldiers with a tranquilizer pistol, or kill one before disabling the other two in hand-to-hand combat. Use the Fulton to transport the soldier to the base.

12. Evacuation of an experienced fighter 02

This soldier is not very useful for the army in the later stages of the game, but if you get him early in the game, it will be good. You will find him in the village of Da Vialo Kallai, surrounded by several soldiers. He is patrolling with another enemy around the center of the city. You can interrogate the soldier on the outer perimeter of the city to find out the location of the leader. It is better to use D-Dog as a partner, who will identify all targets from a distance. If you don't have a partner, use binoculars to identify the desired target. Stun both enemies and evacuate with the Fulton.

Take out the guy furthest away first. This will alert the two enemies near him. After they leave, then deal with the enemy who is not a sniper. Next, shoot the sniper with a tranquilizer pistol.

In addition to the main goal, try to neutralize and evacuate other opponents who have “A+” and “A++” skills. Get to the target and evacuate it.

14. Evacuation of an experienced fighter 04

Below you can see a diagram of where the fighter you need is located.

Finding it is quite easy, but evacuating it is more difficult. He is located near an armored vehicle, which is standing still. Crawl close enough to the target and put him to sleep with a tranquilizer. You can shoot several times in the chest without aiming for the head. Mount the SI-4 on the vehicle, then evacuate the target. Run back and blow up the car. You can leave the hot zone, ignoring everyone.

Be careful! Don't kill the soldier who is your target. Before you do anything, either use D-Dog or tag all the soldiers through binoculars.

There are about eight enemies in total, as well as two snipers on the rock. Take out the snipers first and then look for the right soldier. Use the tranquilizer rifle to put everyone in the camp to sleep.

16. Evacuation of an experienced fighter 06

You must evacuate one of the enemy army soldiers located at the outpost northeast of the eastern communication point. Move to the blue zone. Choose a dog as your partner. It will help you not only identify all enemies, but also highlight the desired target. Try to start the attack from the top of the hill, taking out the two snipers. Use a tranquilizer gun. Go down and carefully shoot the remaining opponents. Evacuate the target and complete the mission.

17. Evacuation of an experienced fighter 07
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Walkthrough

Go to the middle of the blue circle on the map to find an armored personnel carrier. To the right and left of him are two people. One of them is that same experienced fighter. Mark it through binoculars or, when approaching, have D-Dog do it. After this, you will need to deal with two lone snipers located in front of the transporter on the hill. Next, go around the conveyor on the side on which the experienced fighter is located. Put him to sleep, evacuate the equipment, then neutralize the second soldier and evacuate him too (he is a valuable employee). Next, evacuate the sleeping experienced fighter to complete the mission. Two more enemies should most likely go somewhere further along the map.

18. Evacuation of an experienced fighter 08

Quickly shoot him with the tranquilizer gun. If there is another enemy nearby, you need to shoot at him too. After this, evacuate the experienced fighter you need. Now you can safely die in order to select the Helicopter Center (and not the control point) or return to the base the same way.

Evacuation from old GB

Photos with memories

Among the side missions there are 10 pieces that are related to the search for missing soldiers from Snake's team. These missions start at 51 and end at 60. However, you need to remember that until you evacuate the soldier, the next mission will not be open. Each time after completing the mission (51-60), move to the medical platform and talk to Paz. Give her the photo, listen to the words and leave the infirmary. You will have new audio recordings.

Important! After giving one photo, even if you have completed all the missions, be sure to fly away from the main base. Then come back and give the second photo, etc. If you go to Paz right away, the game will probably freeze.

So, having taken on one of the missions, you must find a soldier moving within the specified area. After this, you need to sneak up on the soldier unnoticed and shoot several times with a tranquilizer pistol. You can use a sniper rifle with a tranquilizer for this purpose.

Remember that you will not be able to visit Paz before you order a new upgrade to the medical platform. Only after this improvement will a new mission be available.

All soldiers in these missions who need to be evacuated are looked around. As soon as they notice you, they will run away. D-Dog's partner will help you identify targets. The same goes for Quiet.

It is best to look for soldiers at night, as this will make it harder for them to detect you.

Use a cardboard box more often.

* Mie Ling. She is one of the chief information officers in this operation. Particularly specialized in intercepting data from enemy spy satellites. She also has advanced communications technology and radar, powering Serpent's operation. Call her to remember the game.

* Row Campbell. A former Foxhound officer who retired from the military but was called back to make contact with the Hard Snake. Perhaps one of the few who are still able to cope with terrorists. Will answer any questions on any missions.

* Natasha Romanenko. Military analyst, about 30 years old, loves to smoke, specializes in modern weapons, including nuclear weapons. Provides information support to the Solid Snake. Call her if you have a very difficult opponent. Can examine any of your weapons.

* Octacon. Engineer at Arms Tech company. He went over to the side of the terrorists.

*Decoy Octopus. No information.

*Master Miller. Survival Training Specialist, third generation American Japanese Ancestry, served in the SAS, Green Berets, Marines and Foxhound. Very famous among this cool crowd as a superinstructor named Master Miller, a terribly respected Jap. After leaving the army, he lives peacefully in the lap of nature in hospitable Alaska. Teacher of the Solid Snake.

* The chief of Darpa. The chief of the American Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), a fanatical supporter of the idea of nuclear retaliation. He was taken hostage by terrorists right in a nuclear storage facility. What he did there and why he came to Alaska, only God knows.

* Kenneth Vaseg. The president of Arm Tech, a rather nasty middle-aged gentleman, was also taken hostage by the terrorists. It is completely incomprehensible why a civilian, the president of a reputable company, was drawn to the Eskimos, what he should do in Alaska, and even at the Military Depot.

*Jim Houseman. The US Secretary of Defense is in charge of the entire operation.

* Big Boss. The former commander of the Fox Hunters, who was in the hottest spots (in the 70s) as a mercenary, evokes mythical delight among his colleagues, who gave him the nickname Great Soldier. In the 90s he served in Foxhound, then, using money and connections preserved from the days of mercenaries, he created a rather strange military organization called “Outer Heaven”. But the Solid Snake destroyed her, which earned her tender love.

* Socom is the Snake's first weapon, maybe with a silencer.
* PSG1 - sniper gun, get it at LVB2, enemy base A.

* The Socom pistol and FAMAS rifle can be fired while running. Take your weapon, hold the button Square, press a direction on the D-pad and simultaneously press and hold the button O (Circle) You shoot while running!
* Even good people have to reload their weapons. To quickly do this, tap the Weapon Quickchange button twice (quickly).
* Unique Nikita weapon! Not only can you direct the missile at the target, but from any perspective (camera installation) you can watch how the missile “looks out” for the target. If you are afraid of an ambush somewhere around the corner, let Nikita become your eyes.
* Cardboard boxes can serve as excellent camouflage. Even if you hide in it, you do not lose the ability to move. But do not do this in front of the guards, they will immediately open fire. You may find different boxes, but be careful and pay attention to the labels! A box with the inscription "Snowfield" may fool the guard in Blast Furnace, but in the Armory he will not fall for the bait, because Snowfield itself is very far from here. How did the box get here? When hiding in a box, place it in a corner or against a wall; in the middle of the room it will look stupid and suspicious.
* In some rooms there are pressure traps; if you step on them, you will fall down and die. But you can run through them safely, and with Thermal Goggles you can easily spot them.
* What's around the corner? Need to take a look sometime. Stand at the very edge of the wall, press and hold the Look button, and then press the Item Quickchange or Weapon Quickchange button.
* Night-Vision Goggles are very useful in poorly lit areas. But if you don’t remove them during the explosion of a Stun grenade, you will go blind for a while.
Here are some other items you can get by pressing the button: L2.
* Ration (pizza, ration) raises the standard of living well, but you can only have a limited amount at a time, otherwise you will overeat.
* Diazepam, very similar in name to a sleeping pill, but in fact a daytime tranquilizer, so as not to sleep, but also not to fuss in sniper mode.

* Tips and tricks.
* Play the first part of MGS, get a taste, get acquainted with the nature of the game action. Watch the demonstration carefully.
* Play thoroughly in Training Mode and be sure to master the techniques of covert penetration, dodging, dodging, etc.
* Hide and sit quietly. You will never be able to kill all the guards and stay alive.
* Hide behind corners and other objects, lean against walls, try to carefully look at what’s ahead, to see if the guards are approaching. Always try to act carefully and thoughtfully. You need to know what lies ahead!
* Try to stay behind the guards, but don't get too close. They sometimes turn around and, if they spot you nearby, they will finish you off right there. Keep an eye on them and study their behavior before sneaking up on them or sneaking past them unnoticed.
* The guards hear everything! Don't run on the pebbles, don't slam the walls, don't crack your necks, and don't blow up anything near the guards. Oh, and don't play musical instruments or sing military marches.
* Look at the radar more often, you will always know where the guards are and what they are doing. The screen will turn red if they lure you, i.e. They will hear some sounds or find footprints. The red color will disappear when the guards begin to yawn and fall asleep and close their eyes. It is very important that you can see on the radar which direction they are walking and looking.
* When crawling out from under a car or ventilation pipe, wait until the guard passes by. There will definitely be a security guard, that's for sure! Your radar will "disappear" when you switch to the display angle from the crawling position. And you won't notice the guard approaching.
* When using grenades, act wisely, otherwise the guards will hear you. It would be better to do without them, and just quietly slip past without raising any alarm.
* When using Socom, aim more accurately. It only takes three shots to finish anyone off, and ammo should be conserved.
* The enemy's body can be used as a shield, you just need to stand behind and press Square, but such a body can withstand 2-3 shots, and then a new body will be needed. If he resists, tap the button once and he will calm down.
* The lifts do not operate when the alarm is activated. You'll have to wait until it turns off.
* Items, weapons and enemy behavior will change from time to time depending on your actions. You will remain unnoticed, and the guards will not be feverish, let them sleep as much as they want.
* The sentries and guards can be finished off if you quietly plant explosives with C-4 somewhere under them, and then move away and take off!
* Come to the training camp more often, here you will not only learn various techniques and tricks, but learn how to properly control the Solid Snake.
* Don't fly into the room, shooting "from the stomach like a fan" - this tactic doesn't work here! You need to enter rooms unnoticed and fight only when absolutely necessary.
* After killing a guard or some other enemy, try to hide the corpse somewhere. After all, if someone sees him, they will immediately rush after you or raise the alarm. And who needs it?
* Try not to fall under the watchful eye of video cameras. As soon as they spot you, the alarm will sound and the enemies will rush after you.
* To act unnoticed, look at the map often. See the location of guards and video cameras.
* To lure the enemy into a trap, knock on the wall, and when the guard jumps out to see what's going on, deal with him!
* Before jumping out from around the corner, carefully look around - there may be an enemy waiting for you.
* When walking around cold Alaska, be careful, as the guards can see the frosty steam from your breath!
* Don't leave footprints in the snow, crawl on your stomach and then you will be able to remain unnoticed.
* If a guard is blocking your path, do not rush at him like crazy. Be patient, and when he starts to yawn and closes his eyes (the area on the map will become “empty”), run past, or you can finish him off with a powerful silent attack. And don't forget to hide the corpse. All this takes time, but here they can spot you. So it’s better not to get involved, let him live.
* Very often you have to break the necks of enemies, and you need to be able to do this. Wait until he turns his back to you, jump up and grab him (press Square) and then click Square a few more times until you hear a crunch.
* Stealth Suit. MGS has two different endings. In the one where Mermle dies, you get a special suit that allows you to save and restart the game (like in Resident Evil). In addition, in this suit you are invisible to enemies.
* Bandana. If you finish MGS in the first ending, where Moril remains alive, you will receive a new item - Vandana. When he is with you, you don’t even have to be afraid of bullets!
* Knock on the wall. While holding the D-pad towards the wall, press X repeatedly. The Solid Snake will knock on the wall, which will deliberately attract the attention of the guards. And when they come up to look, you decide what to do.
* Training Camp.
Even without a weapon, the Serpent is deadly. Click X, and the opponent will receive a blow to the jaw; press twice - with the left one on the jaw, with the right one - cross; press three times - a punch to the jaw, a right cross and a kick with the right foot. He can strike even while holding a weapon, such as the Socom or FAMAS.
* Get closer to the enemy, press the button X and attach C-4 explosives to his back. Now press the button any minute Square. and it will fly to pieces.
* When you knock an enemy to the ground with a blow or throw, place a CLaymore mine near his feet and quickly run away. When the enemy gets to his feet, the mine will go off...
* The Stinger is a great thing, it can easily finish off an enemy from a long distance. But there should be no obstacles in the line of fire to the target, otherwise the missile will hit them and explode. And at the same time you can get it properly.
The stinger can destroy security cameras, as well as sentry guns.

* BOSS STRATEGY.

Our tips and tricks will help you deal with bosses in MGS. If you have the Japanese version of the game, then this boss strategy will also be fully useful, since minor differences are associated only with difficulty modes.
You can easily cope with some bosses on your own, others will be more difficult, and some may seem simply invincible. But in order not to spoil your pleasures, try to deal with them yourself first. And if it doesn’t work out, then we are at your service.

Disc 1.

* Revolver Ocelot
The tactics are the same at all difficulty levels. No problems, as long as we don't run out of ammunition. There are three boxes of ammo, each containing 12 pieces. Pick them up only if your Socom has 13 or less ammo left. Chase Ocelot, but keep a safe distance. Be careful and attentive when he still has ammo. But when he starts reloading his weapon, he can be insected! But at any other moment, try to shoot him, although the chances are slim. And beware of ricocheting bullets - they are especially dangerous!

* Raven's Tank.
First of all, put on Thermal Goggles to see where the mines are laid. They are easier to detect with glasses than even with a mine detector. Then throw a Chaff Grenade at the boss to disable the long-range weapon. Then approach and throw a grenade into the hatch to finish off the tanker. If there is no direct hit, you will have to finish him off with a second grenade. Since there are two people in the tank, you will need 2-4 grenades. Keep track of the tank's position at all times, because if it gets far enough away, you'll have to throw a Chaff grenade again. You can follow the radar, but if you play in Hard of Extreme mode, then its position is easier to determine by the direction of the shots. Yes, if a tank runs over you, then nothing bad will happen at once. Just don’t abuse it and lie under it too often.

* Cyborg Ninja.
First of all, attack him with your fists and feet, and when he draws his sword, persuade him to fight hand-to-hand. He can kick nicely, so it's best to attack immediately after he finishes his attack. It is very good for the Snake to use his powerful “Punch-punch-kick” combination, which we have already mentioned. You can run behind the table, so the Ninja will have to jump over it to reach you. And when he lands, attack immediately. At some point, he will put on an invisible suit and hide somewhere in the room. Find and attack. Pound him until he teleports away from your blows. This is the time to use Chaff grenades. Throw one, and when the Ninja screams, attack. Throw another Chaff and keep doing this until these grenades run out. The ninja will teleport after the first punch, sometimes after the second, but the third will always hit the target. During this phase, do not perform combinations on the first and second hits, otherwise you will get a good counterattack. When you knock the spirit (i.e. the life) out of him, quickly run away, because otherwise you will fall into a powerful electric field, which the Ninja will organize for you in his death throes. Now is the time to shoot. After each hit, the half-dead Ninja will again teleport to where. But after three accurate hits, he will finally disappear, and Dr. Emmerich will appear. You will have to communicate with him quite often during the game, so remember his personal radio frequency - 141.12.

* Psycho Mantis.
This boss is almost impossible to deal with, but we will tell you one trick. So don't despair, we are with you!
Mantis can read minds and guesses 7 out of 8 of your attacks, so they are all “missing the garden”. This is where it’s time to switch the controller to the 2nd port, and the end of Psycho’s telepathy, now every attack will hit the target. But you still cannot use Nikitas, C-4 and grenades, since Mantis can explode them at any second (in your hands, etc.). Get down on all fours to avoid being hit by flying chairs, and then shoot the boss. He will start rushing around the room using Psycho forces, but you will put on Thermal Goggles and you will always find him. As soon as he stops, immediately shoot and dodge his volleys - he will fire from all available weapons. Be careful and return fire only not at those moments when you are dodging his attacks. When Meryl appears, throw a Stun grenade at her, it won’t harm her, she’ll just get away quickly.
So, switching the controller to the 2nd port will significantly simplify the fight with Mantis, although even in this case it will take about 15 minutes!

*Sniper Wolf.
In sniper mode you always move automatically unless you take Diazepam. If you run away, then use the Cigarette, run very quickly, but your strength will run out even faster. Sniper Wolf is always on the second floor and comes into an open position only to shoot at you. It’s good to hide somewhere, pressed against a wall, and watch it from a distance. As soon as you see her, immediately take a comfortable position and shoot. If you run out of ammo, run as fast as you can along one side (as far as possible), jump to the other side and find five bullets. Don't worry, there are no mines there. Be sure to save the game, going through this fury a second time is worse than voluntary torture.

*The Hind.
Craft your Stinger, aim your Stinger, fire your Stinger! Just remember that for greater safety you need to often take cover between two structures and climb to different high places to replenish your ammunition. Otherwise, you will lose most of your life if you do not have time to escape from the height as soon as you hear the cry of the snake “Eat this”. In general, the strategy is quite simple, but even one hit on you can be deadly. On high difficulty levels, when you don't have a radar, watch the tracks from the shots and you can roughly imagine where Hind is hiding.

*Sniper Wolf Rematch.
In the second fight, she will be hiding behind the trees in front of you, so the easiest way is to stand behind the tree yourself and hit her with Nikitas. Don't forget that you can easily see her through your missile's sights if you press the Triangle button. So fire all your Stingers at her and try not to miss. This makes it easier to deal with than shooting from the PSG-1. Then proceed as in the first fight, only now she can hide in a wide variety of places. Don't lose sight of it for a moment, and victory will not be long in coming.

Disc 2.

*Raven.
It is best to use C-4 explosives and Stingers against Raven. If there is a radar, then place the C-4 on the ground, wait until it gets close enough and detonate the charge. If there is no radar, then attack with Stingers. Hide somewhere around the corner, and when Raven approaches, shoot and immediately run away. Stay away from him, he can attack very powerfully. He can also be killed with Nikita missiles, but Raven can easily shoot them down if he sees them in time.

* Metal Gear Rex.
If you haven’t stocked up on food rations, then it’s a big deal, they will be very needed for the fight in the second form (i.e. Gear). First of all, destroy the sensor plate on his left shoulder. Since the Liquid Snake can't see the battlefield well from the cockpit of his Mek, use Chaff grenades to destroy his homing missiles. Then fire one Stinger and then the other. Move all the time, don't stand still, and when you notice that his energy level has noticeably decreased, shoot a couple more times. If you're lucky and do everything right, you'll get rid of it without using a single food ration.
In the second form, Liquid will aim manually and track you without devices, relying on his eyes. The closer you are to him, the more difficult it will be to hit you with missiles; the safest thing is right under his nose or slightly behind him. But if Rex steps on you - instant death, regardless of the amount of food rations. Don't get in his sights, run around, attack with Stingers. Of course, you will have to use up a lot of food, so this trick will not work at Hard and Expert difficulty levels. Although there is really no need to save money, things are moving towards the finish line. You can find one ration in the upper left corner of the room, grab it as soon as possible.

* Solid vs liquid.
A very simple fight at Easy and Normal difficulty levels. Your punch, punch, kick attack combo is very effective, especially when attacking from the side. If you fall, immediately press any button to quickly jump up. Once Liquid has lost all his lives, the fight is not over yet, as Liquid still needs to be knocked off his Rex. Use kick or throw (press the weapon button while running). If you are still defeated, do not be upset, the game will restart again at the beginning of the battle.
At Hard and Extreme difficulty levels, Liquid's attacks are much more dangerous. Be attentive and careful, do not relax. Even though the finish line is approaching, Liquid is still missing!

* Shootout with LIQUID Snake.
Bring three rations with you before jumping into the "truck", although there is a chance you can get by with just one. You will find one ration near the doors you entered, the second - near the old stairs, and the third - in the lower left corner of the room with the "trucks". To make it easier to aim your machine gun at the target - hold down the first-person perspective button and the weapon button (weapon button) . Then you will always be able to see the target in the sight slot and automatically move it to the center of the screen. When there are rows of columns between you, just aim at the place where you intend to spank him. He will come to your gunpoint before he opens fire.
Having successfully completed your “Liquid” tasks, you have finished brilliantly and made the game! Our congratulations!
Now try on other difficulty levels. Good luck to you!
